Game 28: Hall MSG 8P (FS1, 570 AM)

Suddenly GTown, Butler and X are creeping up on both Hall and the program along the 3-4 line due to inconsistent play. There is only a 2G lead separating 3rd from 10th. That 1G of separation is all too important, and was stolen back on 12/29. In front of what should be a sold out, spirited, pun intended, vengeful crowd, its time to put Hall firmly off the bubble in what would be the sweetest payback imaginable.

jealous!! going down with a group of 8 of us sitting in section 104.....the biggest question of the day was which train to take from rockland NY the 2:15 to get in by 3:30 or the 4:15 get there by 5:30....the winner 2:15 ...time to make a day out of it and be extra rowdy for this one!

we stopped there the last two games...love that place and the pizza is pretty good...i remember back in the day they were like $5 bucks for the 32oz.....maybe will see you there before tip!

They are not just automatically full of booze and food. It's all about entertaining so the suite owner, or renter I guess, chooses food and booze options from the Gardens catering menu. It's usually done in advance so the bar is stocked when the clients arrive but also can be done on the spot.

Once my family and I had one of these suites all to ourselves (Huggy and WV clobbered us) and it was good and bad. Lot's of elbow room but no booze and food.  I ended up buying beer from the catering but we went to the normal concession to eat because we weren't a large enough party to eat a whole trey of stuff.

If your friend is a guest of some corporation I'm sure he's golden. If he got them on stubhub he'll probably have to order from the suite wait staff and pay himself or walk to concessions.

It was $5 last time I was there in 2013, was disappointed to see it had gone up but still a great deal.

Need to win. Donnie Marshall made an interesting comment while previewing the St. John’s/Hall game about Mullin. He said that “Mullin has done a great job coaching, but at times he just rolls the ball out and say ok go make good decisions” and that doesn’t travel well against better disciplined teams. That’s Mullin’s coaching style and may not change.
