Yeah this team competes and is very active on both ends even in a losing effort. Anderson's chaotic style is fun to watch and keeps us competitive. VT's a veteran, experienced team.

This is the first time since 1977 that Vermont has been 4-0. This is the first time Vermont has ever beaten any of the ten Big East teams.

We were reduced to 35 foot threes to even be in this game where our guys had superior athletic ability.

Vermont manufactured almost every point with coaching and ball movement.

Anderson got taken to the woodshed. This is one of the most lopsided coaching performances you will ever see.

Where are all the Mullin plays streetball guys now? Wtf does Anderson plays? Bad streetball. Our next effective offensive set will be our first.

Best player in the game was on the other team. Team fought but a lot of negatives. Heron and LJ can't combine to go 7-24 and expect to beat a team like that. Need to be better from the FT line too.

This was definitely the game to see where this team is at and the delusions of this team finding their way onto the bubble this year should be squashed at this point.

I think some of our guys played well at times but don't see anything resembling an offense and defense is so loose. We play about 90 of 94 feet with a lot of blown coverages.

And 1977 has anything to do with this year's team how?  Vermont's a projected tourney team this year.  Historically bad would be losing to INcarnate Word or St Thomas Aquinas

I agree with you Vermont is a good team and don't see this is on the all-time bad loss list BUT you have to win at home on campus against Vermont. Really poor 2nd half and Anderson coached the game not to lose.

I don't know about historically bad loss but it's a bad loss. It's hard to say otherwise. Barring massive progress in the rest of the nonconference schedule this team is going to be bad and get smacked around in big east play. Just because you like Anderson doesn't mean you should ignore reality.

Maybe Anderson can bring in an offensive coordinator.

I’ve never seen a coach so offensively inept that his play with 2.8 seconds left is to have the one SF with no screen or misdirection. Just run to the sideline full supped LJ or do whatever you want.

How do you not have a play for that situation?
