Great tap back by Champagnie to Roberts for the bucket. Kid's got nice feel for the game.

The blue print to this season has to be LJ driving to the basket everytime we need a basket. It leads to an open 3 or someone open under the basket

Roberts was a windex special today. All over the rim.

Big ups to the bench tonight. Not only did Caraher hit big shots his energy was contagious. Roberts with big energy plays all game long. Champagnie with another solid performance.

This team has holes and shortcomings but for them to get a W when Heron and LJ combine for 13 points that's really good.

Well conditioned team.  Hopefully that will show in the depths of late jan/early feb.  Good sign.

Anderson’s system took hold this game. Conditioning and pressure worked, Mass had no legs the last 8 minutes. Roberts and the bench shined. Heron and LJ played poorly and ultimately were not needed. They need to get back to what we think they can do by late December

Agree conditioning was a factor and so we benefitted from playing them on the end of back to back games. Since we won't be playing anymore games in consecutive days hope conditioning can still play a factor for us.

Agree. Tonight they proved that they're going to be a player in the A10.

1) CMA's philosophy to play the 2nd unit extended minutes over the first 6 games paid off today. He was waiting to see who from this group would rise up, Earlington has earned heavy minutes and now so has Caraher, both pleasant surprises. The 2nd unit is gaining confidence in live time which will only help us in conference play.

2) Josh is going to be scary the older he gets. I can't wait to see how much Steere will help him.

3) The Heron disappearance has been perplexing. Hopefully a good week of practice and two cupcakes before West Virginia will get him back in gear.

4)Gotta shore up the free throw shooting.

St Johns should be atleast 9-4 in nonconf play, really need to win against UWV at the garden to be 10-3 and about where everyone expected them to be. And then be .500 in Big East play and you find yourself on the Bubble.

UMass had two decent players and they were freshmen. We win this game 10/10 times with even Norm Roberts coaching.

There is no “blueprint to the season.” It is simply whether Anderson keeps his .500 streak alive and how much experience the underclassmen can get for next year.
