Lol when you have Ponds, Heron, LJ, and Clark on the perimeter don’t you think that opens things up for a back door lob to Simon? Remember Clark played the 5 spot and he stayed on the perimeter. His shot had to be respected. Opposing teams centers were pulled out the lane. That also created driving opportunities that only Ponds was able to take advantage of. That wouldn’t work with this group.

You should go back and watch some clips of the Simon alley oops. You can minimize it all you want but they were nice plays.

I’m not minimizing it...they were nice plays. However you are not acknowledging how the threat of an outside shot plus the skill set of the collective players enables that play to happen. Simon initiated many of those plays. Walk me through how that same play would work given our starting lineup versus GT. Is Roberts initiating the play? Even if he doesn’t do you think Yurtseven is even paying Roberts any attention? Wherever Roberts goes Yurtseven stays put in the lane.

Many of your scenarios sounds good in theory but it’s not that simple. So many times I’ve read posters saying Heron should get the ball in the post. What are y’all watching?

Sure would be. It seems like SJU chronically struggles to get 6'10, 6'11 big bodies in here. They just need to be space eater types with a little bit of skill.

McGriff was a 2* out of H.S., he'll be the backup next year. It's will be our starting pg, kid was a top 100 player before breaking his arm last year. He's putting up the numbers this year.   we need Gray real bad.
