BYU 12/2, 5:00
« on: December 01, 2020, 10:26:09 PM »
Last I saw the line favored slightly. We haven’t had a lot of time make adjustments since Monday’s game, but we’ve had some which is more than I can say for BYU.

IDK much about BYU except they got destroyed today by an unranked USC team.

What’s the key to the game? I’m going to say it’s the pace. We play fast, and that’s great, but sometimes it’s too fast. I think we calm down and find the balance.

Johnnies - 91
BYU - 67

Posh drops 25, with 7 assists
Greg plays great defense and continues to go strong to the basket. Finishes with 18 and 6.

I expect a tight game.  Their size presents matchup problems.  Despite the performance today, I'm sure they can shoot the 3 ball at a high level since they typically do (not sure what they lost from last year, but they were a good team).  I don't think their performance today is reflective of what type of team they are.  Sounds like USC matched up well and I chalk up the blow out to a bad performance.  Expect much better tomorrow.

BYU lost most of their team.

BYU got humiliated against USC and I expect a better performance out of them. That said the Johnnies are playing better right now.  I'll take us to win and cover ATS.

St. John's - 78
BYU - 73

Only thing I can think of is that it’s on the same court as Army-Florida and that game finished pretty recently.

Terrible first half, settling for too many 3s absolutely no flow to the offense.

Earlington is the all time SJ leader at hitting nothing but backboard on threes
2 years and 2and half games into his career
Record will never be broken

When people said Cole was going to replace LJ, I didnt realize that meant leading the team in forced shots.

Other than Cole being a black hole, really like the ball movement and unselfishness on O this year. Moore and Wusu better than expected, Posh solid, and Champagnie ...well I guess I should be past the point of pleasantly surprised, but he's just been so much better than expected. Last year was clearly no fluke.

I don’t know what it is but I feel like Toro never rotates correctly

I’ve seen it too. He’s not used to the team. I think he’ll get there.

He made his first 3 point shot and then just kept shooting it all night.
