Marco you are convoluting the issues.  There is a difference in a street agent paying a player, and a coach doing so.  Unless you have proof connecting Myron Piggie with COACH K, which I am sure you don't since Duke received absolutely no sanctions and were probably not even investigated, then you need to stop alleging schools pay players when it is the agents doing so.  Do some schools pay through the agents? Probably...but unlike Blue Chips I doubt many college coaches have knowledge of what goes on specifically so that they can maintain plausible deniability.  The people that play this game aren't dumb, they don't want their programs getting in trouble if something happens.  You are implying connections and assuming about 4 steps that just aren't there.  Give it a rest!

Marco --- what was Keita being paid?  Am I wrong in that it was something like $250 a month?  Do you know how ridiculously little that is?  No recruit is coming here bc of $250 a month.  It's wrong - but I kind of believe them when they said they were helping out a kid coming over here from Africa with no money...it didn't sound like a dirty payment to me.  Against the rules, yes, dirty to gain an advantage? No.

You're not even allowed to pay for a kid's dinner after his parent dies - as Rick Majerus can tell you.  The rules are a little absurd.  But you can't use Keita in the same line as Maggette or C_Webb because Keita was getting CHUMP change compared to what some of these amazing players arre getting across the country.

If you offer to pay a kid and he turns you down, he'll tell!  That almost never happens.  If Bob Huggins, for example, goes after Kemba Walker with 100k in hand, what would stop him from telling Calhoun or the NCAA?  Nothing.  That school is essentially his rival.
