Ok this is getting ridiculous, what is the Transfer count at?

From the little I saw he looked to have more upside than Coker, this leaves us very thin at C

Attack basketball, pressure defense, 40 minutes of hell ... Early on it might be 30 minutes of hell, then 10 minutes of what the hell are you doing?"

Next year all 4/5 minutes were going to Evans, JB & Coker.
Or going small with DJ or Mase @ 4

Wait was still not going to see 5 min/game.
Wish him well.

Wow can't say im suprised.  Good luck to Phil...  I really thought he should have gotten some more burn during the blowouts and cupcakes.  I thought he could have turned into a serviceable back up center.  So I guess this means we are signing 2 players in this class after all

I really thought Wait would have stuck around.  Good luck to him, and I hope wherever he goes, he gets some burn.  He's pretty old, I wonder if he will go back to England to play...

these transfers are on the staff...norms bringing in kids just bc no one else is a viable option...you have to be able to tell if a kid can play at this level or not...making them come to your program when its a long shot it'll work out is not right to the kid...i mean, even a kid like Q who has some upside will not get playing time anymore...and god help him if lance signs

Best of luck Phil.....now the million dollar questions is who the hell is coming in the revolving door now? Hopefully we find upgrades.

I got to interview Phil in October.  Seems like a great guy.  Best of luck to him.

With that said, makes that 14 transfers in 5 years.  Great talent evaluating.

Just for the record I don't think the staff "makes" anyone accept a scholarship offer but I get your point.  It's not like there were only 6 guys on the roster and they needed warm bodies.  That said Ty and Phil are essentially the Sean and DJ of the previous year.  Sometimes it works but it usually doesn't.

Agree, there's still only 2 rides left.  Only upgrades and PG's need apply (or maybe a dominating C).

I dont think Wait transfers if not asked. Which means Norm has someone else coming in. A better player IMO

It was pretty clear he wasn't going to get much time.  Hopefully Norm doesn't end up reaching on lower level guys again this spring.

We need a PG and either Parrom or Lance.

honestly the 2 transfers sofar this yr r the ones we could most afford..wait 2 me looked very inexpirienced n was jus there 2 b a body in the paint...ty had a lot more upside to me than phil he had the ability 2 score but looked scared at times n made poor shots n turnovers..hopefully we get stith or that  juco pg n stevenson but i herd rumors that we were in the hunt for jarrid famous...i think if we bring in him lance omari n hardy we could do a lot of damage nxt yr...famous is a dominating big man @ 6'11 who gets bords puts up pts n also blocks..if not that deffinetly need another bakup pg

norm is a cancer to college basketball.

a couple of years ago, the ncaa would have restricted our scholarships if a coach pulled this crap.

i remember the massage braica got when he supposedly worked for years to get wait to sign...as if he was the second coming of larry bird.

another day...another example of how pathetic this program is.
