Barring any snags on St. John's end concerning Lavin he will be our next head coach. I think the contract gets done today. Expect announcement. Also the guys mentioned for his staff is very legit. We have to send Greg Anthony a thank you card if everything works out I'll explain at a later time.

If not Lavin, then who else?  I think the Monasch would realize this and make sure Lavin doesnt leave without a deal.

BTW, i wasnt initially on the Lavin bandwagon but the more i have read about him and the possibilities regarding the staff this is without a doubt the best option out there right now.  Get it Done Chris...

i wonder what his hire with a "dream team"-esque staff does to attendance next year...we should get a poll going to see who would get season tickets, whos going game to game etc, from this board

2nd time they are meeting, candidates are dwindling, and I think its a great fit.

  I can't wait till this is official!  Exciting to hear that Lavin desires to be HERE.  This is a change from what we are used to hearing. Missing out on Hewitt willbe a blessing in disguise.   Can we send flowers from the Jungle to Mrs. Hewitt and his children?

That's awesome...that would be my fear is that he wouldn't fully commit and leave after a few years.  hopefuly he wants to establish a real legacy here and can convince the admin to make a big commitment.
