NCAA at their finest yet again.
Are curse words filtered on this site :)
To be fair (IMO), online courses could be a solid way to cheat a recruit's way through classes they didn't take.  Then again, I think that all the "Christian Academies" that pop up are much more spurious w/r/t a kid actually going to school like other high schoolers... and the post grad "academies" are dodgy as heck.

When you're a kid from New York and you do it in New York, that lasts forever!

True!  I agree with you there, peter.  It just seemed like this one came outta nowhere.  Why couldn't the (contradictory) NCAA wait until next season to put this rule in place?  LOL

Well....  I still want this kid, whether it's this season or next.  Hopefully, we continue to recruit him, if he has to go the prep route.

I hope he qualifies and I hope we get him. He would be a great addition to this years team. If he doesnt qualify lets stay with him through Prep School. We will really need him next year.

I dont think online courses should be accepted at any level, certainly not the HS level. HS kids need to get their asses in the classroom, basketball player or dungeons and dragons geek alike.

FYI: Arizona State signed Kyle Cain today, according to Jeff Goodman (Fox). I think they had 1 schollie left.

I hear ASU has one more schollie left.  Maybe, ASU gets a committment from Carrick Felix, as well.
