We are a 9 seed and matched up with Xavier and potentially Ohio State.

Still 11 Big East Teams in the field.

RPI: 18
SOS: 1

Those numbers just about say it all don't they. The SOS is going to stay there and if we take care of business we are going to have a top 20 RPI. With the wins we have along with the SOS, RPI and an above .500 BE record we are in no doubt.

Whatever happens don't want an 8 or 9 seed.

Ditto....  Keep winning and we can play our way to a higher seed.

A win on Sunday and we can start talking about what seed we'll be, no more "we will get in".

I hope the kids and staff take one game at a time, but also realize their dream could not only come true but they could work their way to possibly as high as a 4 or 5 seed!!

8.9% chance of making the Sweet 16
1.2% chance of making the Final Four

Columbia?, Wagner?, St. Bonnie?, Cincy?, Rutgers?

Have we played well in even one game at Alumni this year? No

Keeping that in mind,  even with the giant steps we've made this year on the hardwood,  I don't think there is any way we can avoid a senior night, March, late season. nail-biter at the house of horrors for all the marbles against SF.

I hope the kids and staff take one game at a time, but also realize their dream could not only come true but they could work their way to possibly as high as a 4 or 5 seed!!

If we go undefeated the rest of the regular season we may not get a 4/5 seed.  We are solidly on the bubble and I think we need to go 4-3 and 1 win in the BE tourney to feel comfortable.  Anything less and I will be very nervous on selection sunday

If we went undefeated the rest of the way I think we would easily be a 4/5 seed.

Just got a shout out to the Johnnies on College Gameday

if we happend to go undefeated we would no doubt be a high seed,... beat #4 pitt, and #9 nova, and as well as 13-5 big east, and and 21-9 overall with our sos and beating duke, gtown, nd, uconn, pitt, and nova when they were all ranked highly.... but lets realistic, undefeated rest of the way?

exactly...not gonna happen therefore we won't be seeing a 4/5 seed.  Despite the high RPI....if we get in our record will prevent us from getting a high seed.

i believe we go 4-3 the rest of the way.  Maybe even 5-2(pit?).  I know nothing is a given(usf and depaul) but this team has one more good win on the road left in them.  I am praying it is tomorrow and we get that win out of the way.  With a road win and the two games against USF and Depaul, 17 wins with a win in BE tournament gets us in definitely.  Those 3 alone get us to 17 and with a win in BE gets us the 18th win to guarantee us a bid.  However, get to 18 in regular season and any wins in BE tourny to me, will then create how high a seed we get.

Just my opinion.

So where do you guys think we will be seeded in tomorrows bracketology?  My guess is that we will be a 7 seed.

I agree.  I want to see us as a 7 seed with a possible matchup against Jimmer in the 2nd round!!!

I would love to be a 7 seed but I'm not sure I want to play Jimmer.  I played against him in aau and kid is unbelievable.  He would destroy our zone.

I've already decided I will be taking BYU to make the final four this year, so I really hope we don't play them
