huge, i hope the school administration does a good job with tournament ticket availability and ncaa trip,... they always do such a poor job giving us a student section in big east tournament

This is getting crazy now.  We're not only hottest team in big east but the entire country.  There isn't 1 team in the country that wants to play us right now.

I agree....Hardy just locked up BE POY and I think with a good showing in the BET & NCAA's Lavin is National Coach of the year!!!

Sick win.  took a huge punch from Nova in the second half, weathered the storm, then buried them. ON the road no less.  sign of a great team.

nobody wants to see our name in the BE tourney, or in their bracket in the Ncaa's.

  thanks Steve Lavin!

great game by Hardy and DJ!

This win finally made me feel like we are for real. It took a while but I'm a believer now.

- The one problem we seem to still have is go on these scoring lapses for 3-5 mins at a time and it's awful
- defense has been much better lately
- Dwight Hardy is the Big East Player of the Year
- Lavin is hands down Big East Coach of the Year and has to be in serious talk for Nat'l Coach of the year

What a game for these guys. Huge win for the seniors who have now beaten every team in the big east in their 4 years.

Hardy is just simply amazing to watch. Could the Knicks please draft him in the 2nd round so he can stay in NY.

There really is nothing to stop these kids from doing whatever they want the rest of the year. Keep playing like this and the sky is the limit!!

Hardy -POY and Lavin -COY seem like they could def happen. Tell me who could have predicted that at the start of the year.

Yet Another HUGE win!  Great job by Kennedy in the first half rebounding and dishing.  If we hit 3s we are pretty tough to beat.  Hardy just being Hardy...what a gamer.

Nice to see Evans get a chance to beat Nova and dribble the clock out.  Hopefully a lot of his friends and family were there.

Nova might end up a bubble team...they've got ND and Pitt on the road

Wonderful win for the team but especially big for Sean and Paris; they can go home to friends and family now without the stigma of never beating the local big east team.  Saw some positives from everyone.  Paris was great offensively in the 1st half and then made 2 clutch plays in the last 4 minutess by grabbing a rebound after a missed FT and then his steal on the sideline and save by getting it back to Sean was a thing of beauty.  Then Sean took the pass and got it to Hardy because he was aware of the Nova Lox fouling for a heads up play.  In the last 2 minutes there was a free throw where Sean was encouraging his mates in the huddle at the foul line and Paris walked to his position with a big smile on his face.  Lastly, how great must it have been for Sean to dribble out the last 15 seconds--his teammates let him have this thrill.

we are winning because these guys are playing as a TEAM and they really seem to enjoy each other.  We should savor these moments because this type of cameradery is not all too common among teams at all levels.

DJ has become a man possessed when it comes to rebounds.
Paris Horne makes critically important plays when the game is on the line.
Hardy now passes Hatten in my mind. Never thought that was going to happen.

I just got back from Philly.  A few thoughts...

-Villanova fans are much different than Philly fans in other sports.  I didn't get heckled or threatened with physical force once.
-Their fans were really quiet until their run in the 2nd half.
-Their Student Section was awful
-A lot of Johnny fans there.  The "We Are St Johns" chant at the end was awesome.
-Tim Higgins overturning that foul was the highlight of my day.
-Paris Horne with another HUGE offensive rebound on a free throw.  That is the third time he may have won us a game by doing that (Arizona State, Pitt).
