This is such BS. Everyone talking like they know what he is going through. Get over it. He has had a MAJOR surgery. He has both physical and psychological issues to deal with during his recovery. I was personally shocked to see him on the sidelines when he first came back as I expected at least a 3 month recovery. He likes to squat while watching; he has major stitches that can't take the stress and could probably have done some damage and slowed the recovery. He did not have laproscopic surgery which makes healing easier but such surgery is not 100% certain of getting all the cancer. He had a great surgeon and had the time to get the cancer. If it was a life/death, do it now moment, he would have had a different surgeon (such as Dr. Lapore at NYU). Coach chose Dr. Scardino because he is a superb surgeon ; so good that he has a "waiting" list for his services.
As to talking/texting on the phone, Coach loves to talk. Remember last year and the stories of how many cell phones he went through. I am happy he is keeping up with his assistants and players. If he was a lawyer, he would be doing the same; any person with the same condition would long for the outside contact and do the same thing.
