I think labeling either Greene or D'angelo the "point guard" is overrated in our offense. They're both combo guards, and actually I think Lavin prefers that. He wants multiple ball handlers.
Neither of our guards (I don't count Stith) played particularly well today, that's the problem. Regardless of who we label as the primary ball handler. Greene, especially, was less aggressive driving and creating opportunities today.
But that will happen when you play a team who can turn guys away from the paint
Harrison went to the rim more aggressively than PG, but D'angelo needs to knock down some of those open looks he had today.
Either way, the guard play wasn't great today. Although we did limit our number of turnovers, which is a plus.
