15ppg, 49% from 3.  Not bad.  But usually JUCO's don't start attracting attention until 2nd year.  Was he a non-qualifier and definitely class of 2013 or simply someone who's blossomed very late and could conceivably become class of 2012 after 1 year of JUCO?

Averaged 23 ppg in the PSAL last season. Maybe KOB or another poster has seen him play and can offer an opinion.

Yes he qualified out of Wadleigh.  He will have 3 years left.

Nate tweeted he is a Tu Holloway type player, who he had on his IS 8 team.

Only takes two three's a game, but that is a very impressive average.  Listed at 6'0...that probably means 5'10 :)  Gets to the line nine times a game...that's nice.  15 ppg for a frosh is very good, but his comp level doesn't look very high with the exception of a few opponents.

He'd be the same class as the Fresh Five and Branch, right?

No inside information at all, but you've gotta think we're the favorites if Lavin wants him.

Nice piece on Bloodman by Zach B in NY Post today, referencing SJU interest.

“I’m trying to go to a school where I’ll star and get a lot of wins,” he said. “I want to pick the right school. I would consider St. John’s. It’s back home, why not? But I’m keeping my options open right now.”

I have no horse in this race, but will note Hardy has a similar background and became a "star" Who knows!

Hardy averaged 39 ppg for a more successful PSAL school, and then did three additional years of basketball after that before coming here.

Guess staff sees something to consider in him. Mail your concerns to staff.
