Alex Kline says he's here with Nolan, Wood and Ruffingworth.

This kid thought he would be a one and done player at Arizona.  It did not work out and he was not showing for class.  He was in trouble in high school after being given a plethora of chances.  I say Iona and SJU should pass on him.  Neither team needs a potential cancer.

Absolutely.   Bringing it every day.

So has anyone heard if Turner is indeed on campus?

Heard from Tim Dimas of SJU radio, who noted he was misinformed and not sure he is here. Believe he just retweeted Alex Kline post. All in all, don't think he is here.

He has a year to prove himself. Unless he has a dying parent in NYC, the worst he'll be is a cancer in practice, not on the court. If he doesn't do what is asked of him, you boot him.

I agree that we can't pass on Turner if available.  A year sitting out -- lifting, practicing, getting to know our system, bonding, and generally getting hungry -- will turn him into a beast.  Turner is a future pro.

Paultzman is a funny dude.  :2funny:

Re: Turner and grades

- With a year to sit out, Turner can -and should- focus on getting his grade situation in order, so he can definitely play next season.

Still don't understand why this guy would even consider a lower level school like Iona...doesn't make sense.  Probably not real interest...

Maybe Felix preps if both Josiah and Chandler commit (along with Nolan).  It probably wouldn't hurt for him to get another year.
