No one said they would be upset. I simply wondered what their reaction would be. Relax and check out some HS transcripts.

So when you were "wondering" how they react - you thought they might be high fiving each other about Keady moving ahead of the both them on the coaching depth chart..

As for the dbag transcript comment...    if you go back through, there were two kids I specifically said on here who would not be eligible for next year..   Javon Thomas and Darrick Wood -  look who didn't make the grades for next season.

Flaming the board is against the rules last I checked...

Some (very brief) forum rules:
* Respect other posters.  Insults, and flames will not be tolerated

As for the little man comment, you have obviously never met me...

Have a nice day...

Stop giving yourself credit for that.  Everyone in their mother knew that Wood and Jevon had academic troubles.  Nobody disputed Wood was going to be tough.  People disputed your assertions about his credits and why you post that type of information on a message board.  Nobody here said Wood was definitely going to qualify, they were defending him against your posts.  Don't equate the two as if you were on 1 side saying he was not going to qualify and everyone else was on the other side.

As for Jevon he had a learning disability and I posted that and EVERYONE knew he was going to be difficult academically.  EVERYONE.

You also predicted to me that Jevon would end up at Seton Hall.  You also predicted point blank Ben Howland would be fired.  You were dead wrong on both of those things.

You also incessantly post about academics on this board and without prodding endlessly asked if everyone was in summer school even after people posted tweets telling you they WERE in summer school.

Well said Fordham! No Nostradamus predictions on those "nuggets"!

He was a great defensive coach at Purdue. I would imagine that we don't lose much (if anything) with Keady replacing Dunlap except for the obvious age difference and the limitations Keady has physically due to his age. Dunlap did little recruiting anyway.

Keady is not a fan of the match up zone, and neither am I. If he'll do it, that would be amazing. The question then becomes, how long will he do the job for?

I do not think this is a long term thing. Perhaps Lavin is not happy with the candidates at this point and has a great asset in Keady to rely on for the season.

The more points your score, the less you give up, the more you win.

Cooley need a copy of this?

He would immediately be the most accomplished assistant coach ever. It speaks volumes about Steve Lavin, and our program that a HOFer would even entertain this idea.

Worst thing about Coach Keady moving up to Asst. coach--he will no longer be coming to the Red White Club for his pre-game chats.  They were always informative and fun.  A real gentleman-whatever he decides to do is fine with me.

Some coaches did come to Red White.  Casey did back in the day.

Hoops sometimes goes more that a month without updating his blog.  I recently deleted it from my bookmarks because I got frustrated seeing the same story each time I opened
it.

I hear that. When he spoke to us two years ago shortly after losing to the Bonnies and Fordham, he said "we were lower than a snakes belly".
