Moe Harkless Draft Predictions ONLY

Only rivalry regarding the Knicks is Amare vs. Melo.  Although fans Versus Dolan is right up there.

The Chad Ford/Bill Simmons mock draft which ends with the Celtics pick at #22 unfortunately does not include a pick of Harkless or any mention of him.  Ford has never been high on Moe, for whatever reason, and I don't trust that Simmons knows anything about these prospects beyond what a) he reads from people like Ford or Hollinger, and b) who he saw in the NCAA tourney, neither of which woudl help him realize anything about Moe.  Forget that Ford/Simmons and the players left Moe off.  As long as NBA GMs don't feel the same way, Moe is going to have a BIG day tomorrow!

Re: k1ngs of k1ngs:  Can someone explain something to me?  Why do Knicks fans have anything against the Celtics?  Celtics fans dont have anything against the Knicks.  I'm a die hard celtics fan but I'll root for the KNicks if they are playing other teams.  When was the last time the Celtics and KNicks had a "rivalry" when both were similarly very good at the same time?  The Early 70s --- like 30 years ago?  The Celtics have developed rivalries with the Sixers/Pistons from the 80s, recently the Heat, and OF COURSE, the Celtics' all-time rival, the hated Lakers.  But not the Knicks.   Yet on Saturday I get yelled at by a Knicks fan for a Celtics shirt in my hometown.   What gives?  Is this just Red Sox/Patriots hatred attributed to the Boston basketball team?  I'm honestly very interested to know if and why Knicks fans think there is a rivalry with the Celtics.  There just isn't.

First-NY hates Boston (Yanks-Sox, Jets-Pats, Knicks-Celts, Rangers-Bruins). Second-Knicks 2 championships, Celts 17 (jealousy). There are still plenty of people still living who remember when all sports leagues had much fewer teams so had many games against each other in eastern division. Rember Red Auerbach lighting up a cigar late in games that had been "decided", Dave Cowens and his physical brand of ball, former player and the biggest homer announcer in history Tom Heinsohn. I hate the celtics and always will though admit I have admired the team ball they have played last bunch of years under Doc (who I which Knicks would have hired). Only team I hate more are Philly Flyers for their Broad Street bully days.

Certainly can see Dunlap and Hornets taking Moe at 10.  He's a known commodity to Dunlap and Dunlap knows his potential better than anybody.  No brainer for mike at 10.

I post after working all night and that's what happens.  To give more insight, I'm looking into relocating down to Charlotte and was just reading an article an hour ago about Charlotte wanting to change the name back to Hornets.  The "Hornets" got stuck in my head. Lol

I thought the same thiong as I was about to type that but even after realizing Dunlap doesn't coach there, I thought this was a good spot for Moe.

Chad Ford's last mock draft --- Harkless 18 to Rockets.  Ford lists the "Big Board" for each team, and the Rockets are the only team's big board that Harkless is listed under, but the way he did it, I wonder if everyone after 18 he automatically removed Harkless (and most if not all other picks that have already happened) from their big boards, so it is flawed.

I say he goes # 1 after the Hornets fail to find a way to market a player with a unibrow.  Wishful thinking but I agree with you guys that #10 would be a great spot for him.

Lot of rumors of SF trading down from #7 - possibly scoring Houston's  #12 and 16.  Jerry West (SF) wants an SF and is high on Kidd-Gilchrist and Mo, but he also knows they need a true non-project Big as well.   They'd need to trade UP for MKG and forget about the big.  By trading down, they get Mo and Zeller at 12 & 16.  I imagine any deal with Houston waits till the last minute as Houston still thinks they have a shot at a Dwight Howard trade with their 3 first round picks.

I agree grabbing HOU's pick would be ideal for GS.  However you run the risk of a team like POR picking one of their targets with their 2nd pick where they can take more of a risk.

Also to note Perry Jones now has some knee issues which is dropping him.
