This is extremely annoying.  Season started and this is still not cleared up?  We need these two this season.  NCAA is too busy trying to clear Kyle Anderson, Shabazz Muhammad and Nerlens Noel.  Maybe they'll get to us soon...

They had better be eligible by the 12th. 4 point lead at the half.

Indiana is also waiting on 2 players eligibility rulings and they're the #1 team in the land this isn't personal. The NCAA is just severely understaffed and more and more kids these days are involved in shady academics and professionalism crap.

The good thing is that this doesn't appear to be an elegibilitu issue, rather a year classification problem. They'll play this year, just not sure when.   At least this is what I gather.

Remember the Sanchez Sr. talk plus there was talk if Marco was Soph or Jr.  Not a big deal but still BS nonetheless.  You take out 2 guys and arguably a 3rd who would see significant minutes in Gift as well.  I think Gift will redshirt if Sanchez has just 1 yr.  Throw in a 4th player sitting out in Branch.

What was with Felix tonight?  Was he even there?

And they are waiting.to hear the classification of Marco and Orlando.

I talked to ppl after the game and they aren't concerned much about Orlando/Marco.  Its just frustrating its still November and its up in the air.  Not sure how I feel about Felix redshirting honestly.

True but the scary part is we were still able to comfortably play even with those guys in sweats.

1 (Gift) is being held because they need to hear about one of the other 2 (Sanchez).

It makes sense considering he's still a bit raw & probably not ready to make major contributions against Big East opponents

Think it means that with  Obkepa, Jones, Sanchez, Sampson and Garrett up front, that Bourgalt and Sir Dom are considered part of the backcourt rotation with D'lo, Greene and Branch  - that's the 10 man rotation.  Staff may be figura   A 2nd year Felix (with 4 years eligibility) and a 5th year Gift  are better than a frosh anybody (other than Rysheed) for next year....

How does this all translate to the scholarship situation for 13 and 14. If Felix and gift redshirt dosent that block roster spots?

Its clear right now we have 2 targets for 13 in Jermaine and Rysheed.  They are expecting some departure(s).  Unfortunately the next few yrs might now be so cut and dry with ships available.  We just have to enjoy the influx of talent and not count ships so much because it will work itself out with early departures.

I wouldn't say slim at all.

Sanchez may be a junior. He may be a senior. What on earth does that have to do with him playing in a game tonight?
