Marco or Sanchez?

Marco or Sanchez?

Obviously i want both to be cleared, but if we can only get one, who do you prefer?

I go with Marco.

With Jones being such a pleasant surprise, I think he, plus JKS, Obkepa, Amir, Dom, and yes even Gift, can make up for Sanchez.

We need Marco's offensive ability badly.

Thoughts?

We are missing 3 point shooting, but then again, we are also missing an experienced big man. Without seeing them, it's really a toss up. Hopefully this is resolved in the next few days. It be great to start a season w out drama.

Sanchez is 6'9" and can do it all.  He is the prize of the two even though I think Marco can contribute.  we obviously don't have to choose, but it would have to be Sanchez who can make 3's and do everything else in between.

Orlando Sanchez is the most important player on the roster not named Jamal Branch if you are interested in playing this March

Was really hoping to hear on these two by the end of the day. Still a couple of hours left but does not look good. God knows the NCAA wont be working this weekend to come to a decision, only leaving Monday and Tues morning for us to hear and these guys to actually play Tues afternoon

It's frustrating that Muhammad's case and suspension is almost resolved and we still know nothing about Marco and Orlando..

NCAA informed ucla right before their first game.  Presumably SJU could get a call Monday or Tuesday as the NCAA is aware of the timetable and game schedules.  Just keep our fingers crossed that we get good news sometime tomorrow or Tuesday.

We were one of the worst three point shooting teams in the league last year. Marco is the only one that addresses that. While our rebounding was putrid as well, at least Obekpa, Sampson and Jones help address that in some way.

just my gut, but i feel we won't find out before tomorrow's game, but in time for the CHarleston Classic.

Hopefully someone at the NCAA has some regard for these kids. It's absolutely pathetic that they sit around and ignore a situation that directly effects two careers.

There are times in life when one realizes that what you thought was good at one point in the past, as time passes was going to turn into something you'd lament for the rest of your life.  to be a true pride for your people, your family, and country.  at the end it'd be something that would hurt you three years later, but nothing, life goes on and i'll never stop fighting and no one will impede what can be accomplished with god out front. everything will be fine although it appears the longer route needs to be taken.  Good morning and god bless you all.

Again the longer these things go, usually the worse the outcome. If I were to bet I would bet God's Gift suits up Tuesday.
