Going back to Marco/Sanchez, a poster on the other site said a bit earlier that he heard from a good source that both Marco and Sanchez will be cleared soon.

Anyone know that posters track record? Don't visit over there very often and don't recognize him

I sometimes get my Matt's over there mixed up but I think MattC is the honorary son of RM.com. If he's that Matt then he's been a poster since he was 14 or so and has now graduated college and wants to be a sports journo.   He's not know for breaking news but he's also definitely not known for blowing smoke.  Posted a lot when he was in HS but a lot less frequently since he left for college.  If it's one of the other Matts then I'm not sure of his track record.

I am not ultimately worried that they would be cleared just not sure how many games they will miss.

Just decide one way or another...Please.

As long as they decide one way...and not the other.   :-\

Honestly $ is probably a factor in why the extras didn't travel.  Plus our bench is notorious for having 900 people on it ;) Away games don't give us those luxuries

money is a factor; by NCAA rules since they have not been declared eligible so theyare not entitled to "free" transportation, hotels and meals which are only permissable for scholarship athletes; walk ons might also have to pay their own way to attend

You sure about that?  They are practicing.  Again eligibilty is a very loose word.  As they are attending school on a 'free' scholarship.  Plus since Branch and Max didn't go I think the $ I was referring to was more why waste 4 round trips, 4 nights in a hotel, etc...... PLUS the lack of bench room etc.

Maybe Sanchez was taking the picture and Marco was making faces behind him.

Guru on redmen.com said some MAAC coach told him they will be cleared shortly. Hope his source is reliable.

More likely that Sanchez was taking the pic and Marco . . . was back at the hotel banging some hot chick. ;D

Walkon players get transportation, hotel and meal money just like the scholarship players.  Ineligible athletes are a different story.

Ineligible players can't travel as well as players such as Jamal or Max.

What happens if NCAA rules them eligible tomorrow?? Can STJ pay for them to fly to Charleston separately to get them into 2nd and 3rd charleston classic games this week?
