Dave or Moose? any time frame on when to hear from the NCAA on Orlando's status?

I think it's pretty safe to assume he won't be suiting up for us at this point

Where the NCAA is concerned, I don't think it's "safe" to assume anything.   They gave Marco so much notice, they had to yank him out of a class and put him on a plane - which sorta indicates there was NO clue the word would come "that" quickly.

it's a sign of how far st john's basketball has fallen in the eyes of the ncaa that it's not important enough to look at in a timely fashion.

Joe Lapchick bears part of responsibility as well.

Clearly falls on Louie. Let me explain:
If Louie hadn't gotten old and decided to retire, the following chain of events would not have happened:
Louie hand picks overmatched successor.
Crazy man picked to take over for overmatched successor.
Crazy man drops pants gets fired leading to shady guy with Boston accent
Shady guy coaches the most enjoyable team in school history
Female swimmers get beat up
Strip clubs
Trains on skanks
Ingram camera phone
Paying scrubs
NCAA violations
Which leads us to Norm
Couldn't coach or recruit but as his many defenders would tell you was a nice guy.
Fallaway Mase jr
Geno
Jasilnzxzxzxis
Geno
Aaron Spears
Geno
Losing
Bad offense
Geno
Transfers
Losing by Maryland on national TV by 96 points
Which led to Lavin
Great recruiter
This inevitably leads to players being ineligible

Clearly Louie's fault

Actually I am quite shocked we were able to rebound after the Ed Kelleher fiasco of a 10-11 record in 1921-1922 after the recruiting he had with a bag of trinkets used to ride the trolley cars around New Amsterdam.

JUCO transfer Orlando Sanchez will not participate Thursday as he awaits an eligibility ruling from the NCAA. Texas A&M transfer Jamal Branch is eligible for game participation as early as Dec. 16, 2012. Harvard transfer Max Hooper is eligible for game participation in 2013-14 season. All are eligible to participate in team activities, including practices and intrasquad scrimmages.

I just remember when we played I think it was DePaul.  Orvis took a 3 and their big center blocked it with his elbow.  Man that was ugly.

Hunter I think. Chudney was a stud in that game. We have EB, we win that one going away.
