I was talking about my side of the upperdeck. There were substantially more people there for the STJ game than Fordham.

Were there more than the "less than 1000" fans in the entire venue for the SJU game that was previously reported?

There was like no one in the lower bowl for the Fordham and STJ games. Like, no one. But there was a decent amount in the upper deck.
I was in lower level with 3 friends. By my calculations that makes at least 4 people. Guess you couldn't see us from all the way up in that steep upper deck. :)
It was empty, and the rather annoying security was a bit too much to put up w again. The Barclay Center sucks.

Security was the worst. Apparently they do the same thing for Nets games. You could see them all over the arena moving people. They moved me because we moved up two whole rows because no one was sitting there.

and if you thought student attendence was bad, wait until Friday.  My son was finished finals before Saturday and was home by then.  Sure that was impacting our student attendence.

Just throwing this out there, got an email tonight from the Garden offering 20% off Cuse-Temple tickets.  There are also a ton of cheap seats on Stubhub.  Yes our attendance was pathetic this weekend, but even the #3 team in the country with a huge fan base and playing a quality opponent can't see out a game.

They had a guy walking around the upper deck every timeout telling people to take their feet off the seats.  Never saw anything like it.

Agree our attendance was pathetic but overall for the the triple header the number was over 16,000--so much for drawing power of ExCuse

There will be bad attendance for students yes, winter break has already started for STJ.

Are the students traveling all the way home to Long Island, Staten Island and Brooklyn?

This isn't 1988.  A lot of our students come from much further away.  Generally the most active students on campus are the dormers.

Relax, I'm just kidding around. It was empty because the fan base didn't want to bother. No other reason.

It will take time and winning on a consistent basis for us to pack any arena.

Senior, black-out game against S. Fla. sold out Hollywood's 1st season.

Pitt vs STJ, 2010-11 season. 14,514 packed the Garden. Mostly STJ fans.

We had some momentum.  Too bad last seasons Fresh five 6 and 12 stopped it.

On the bright side,  this shows that fan support can buildt fairly quickly.  Two winning seasons in a row and we'ld probably draw OK.
