Great strategy by Lavin..... Hold the ball out and not get a shot off for 3 possessions and let them go on an 8-0 run. Terrible in game coach.

Oh for crying out loud - with D'los 4th, it was the right call. Just bad execution on the court.

Balamou seems like a GREAT teammate.  First guy up off the bench supporting the guys in the game.  Can't emphasize how important that attitude is for a young team.

Does lavin get any credit if we win?  Or just when we lose? What are the rules around here?

Of course not, you no thats not allowed.

"Terrible in-game coaches" don't beat top 15 teams on the road with a team full of freshman and sophomores. Just saying.

All kidding aside, regardless of who gets the credit, it was great to see the team refocused on defense and rebounding.  Still left a few too many shooters wide open, but it was an improvement. The rebounding was great.  That's effort.  Cincy is a good team.  Great win.

Obekpa had a tremendous game. Rebounding with authority. If he plays like today the rest of the season, we're going to steal a few more wins like today.

Not true cr. Other ways to get around the 4th foul. Lavin gets tons of credit for getting these guys to toughen up. But that 10 point lead was built being aggressive. I have no problem with not pushing it for rushed shots, but you have to be aggressive in the half court.

Great win I stand by everything I said, this team is talented, with minor rotation and system adjustments along with the additions of Sanchez and branch ( consistently) we are a very dangerous team

Every single one of us would have signed up for a 1-1 road trip to start Big East play.  And this is the game we would have preferred to have especially considering our weak schedule.  Big win and tons of very winnable games coming up.
