Hopefully this is building Harrison's confidence moving forward with making clutch free throws.

Harrison is great. He keeps closing out these games for us.

the picture will become clearer with how we do after the DePaul game...as long as we beat them of course.

A win is a win.   We definitely took our foot off the pedal in the second half, need to work on that.  But, this team is learning how to win, and how to hold on to win.

Sign of a matur-ING team that they were able to hang on.

Sign of a still immature team that they failed ONCE AGAIN to turn a second half double digit lead into an easy victory.

Good win. We need to learn how to step on the throat of teams when we get up like that. Need to keep this thing rolling and get another W against Depaul. I look at our record and those early season letdowns still haunt me.

I thought we would lose this one...happy we pulled it out even if we blew another lead.  Dlo has some giant sized balls.  I hope the other teams don't figure out he is going to dribble to the right to take his jumper every time :)

Just back and must say this was a Rolaids game for me but the result was wonderful.  D'angelo had best game in a while.  One thing that was positive was that they never let SH get the lead back.  While they had a big lead (loved the end of first and beginning of the second half) and gave it away they did not give it all away.  Will need a nap on wednesday to stay up that late for the game and travel home.

First time in Lavin era we beat Willard and the Hall.  Hoped for pay back for the 30 point loss last year.  Next year should be a good game as virtually all players will be back.

For these early games wish MSG would sell Bagels--heck of a better food idea than hotdogs for breakfast :)

At some point, him forcing shots through double teams is going to come back to hurt us.
I hate to say that when he nailed a 3 at the end of the first half, and that deep 2 late in the game... But it's just so obvious it's hard to ignore.

Both times I think Jakarr was the one who set the pick for him, and it's just painfully obvious Dangelo isn't passing in those situations and is going to dribble right.  And teams trap him now off every pick.   Eventually he's got to have faith in his teammates, and learn to pass back for he pick-n-pop.

Some of his shots make you cringe until you see they went in.

If they call a double technical against Teague and Obekpa, what are the odds anyone would make a free throw?

I got it.  It's a trick question.  No free throws are taken on a double technical and furthermore on a single technical the coach chooses who takes the Ft's and neither coach would choose Teague or Obekpa.
