Even if Horne never developed a acceptable jumper he was going to be a productive player. Greene played ok yesterday but really does nothing well. My friend stat sheet seconds my opinion. I am not sure why people continue to see something that is not there. If a player has 3 or 4 good games and 26 terrible ones then he is terrible.
I share some of your sentiments. I don't think Greene is terrible but I do think he needs to solely play to his strengths.
-The floater/tear drop in the lane is really nice. He has very good body control when leaving his feet in the lane.
-Crossing over to his left, step back jumper on the left side of the basket is his go to shot.
-Wide open set shots he's improving on, similar to Horne its either on or way way off.
Horne was pushed into a bigger role his sophomore year out of necessity while Greene was forced to do the same his freshman year. It's interesting to see how that will develop.
