Huh?
“@jeffborzello: Projected conference title games so far...Kansas vs. K-State, St. John's vs. Gtown, San Diego State vs. UNLV, Oregon vs. UCLA.”

“@PSBasketball: NCAA's David Worlock now informs us of pairings for "Saturday'' conf title games. Big East = St. John's vs. G'town.”

3rd times the charm?

I could care less.  If we get to Saturday Finals I don't care how we play :)

Must be a lot of "weed" at this Mock Tourney gathering;

“@jeffborzello: In our fictional world, Kansas, St. John's, Southern Miss, San Diego State, Ohio, Oregon all won automatic bids.”

I am OK with that LOL but I think the selection committee may think a little different

that actually renders this little exercise useless for us.  would be interesting to know where these guys think we stand as an at-large candidate since our chances of winning the conference tournament are between 0 and 1%.

We still have plenty of chance to make the ncaa's here, between regular season games and the BET.  Can't slip against either USF nor Providence, which will be a tough game.  Then we need to win at minimum 1 of Pitt, Marquette and Notre dame.  If we win 2, we're in good shape.  I'm not expecting that.  I think we can enter the BET with 18 wins and still have a very good shot to get out with 2 wins and make ncaa's.  I'd rather just beat USF, prov, Pitt and Marquette though and be sitting in a better spot.

Don't deserve it at 19 wit two turrible loses and only three or so decent ones.
Parking only for NYCHA permit holders.

I agree.  Even 20 is a stretch.  I think we realistically need 21 wins on Selection Sunday to have a shot.

If we get to 19 well have more than 2-3 decent wins though.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Provided we dont lose our first BE game 18 or 19 I think is OK

20 wins total including BET we'll have hope on selection Sunday. 21 and we'll have more than hope.

To clarify all my numbers I use are prior to and not including BET.

I think we'll finish 18-14, and host Iona/Niagara in round one of the NIT.

I always hated nerds in school.  This affirms that.  The fact they concocted some formula amazes me :)

If we get to 19, you have wins over Cincy, ND, UConn and some combination of ND (again), Marquette and Pitt.  That will give us 5 quality wins, not including the Big East.  And if Asheville makes the tourney, that turns from a terrible god awful loss to not SO bad.

We were picked to finish in the bottom part of the conference. Only figures we would need a strong finish to dance. Gotta take it, but do wonder why some who hang on this board have shown anger throughout much of the season.
