Just another winter day up in Cuse land.

Here is a nice memory if I remember correctly, the 97-98 season.  February 1998, Fran's second year.  SJU got hot middle of the season.  They had already lost to SU at the Garden early in the season.

They were travelling to the Dome in a snowstorm.  Game started late because the bus got stuck.  Fran mentioned after the game how fired up his team was to play that they literally wanted to get out of the bus and push the bus thru the snow.

Felipe had a terrific game and SJU wona close game.

To no one's surprise;

I think there is a chance this game gets postponed, no? Already saying Knicks vs Clips on Sunday might be postponed

Well Clips might have trouble getting to NY.
My understanding is we planned on driving up.

We always drive up.  Plus the game is not until Sunday.

Rutgers/Georgetown is on tomorrow at noon.

Hope it does get postponed.
It will give Branch time to heal, as well as Harrison.

Depending on game times we have flown in the past.  But the plan all along this time was to drive.  Storm or not.

syracuse hasnt got hit hard yet. im worried tomorrow will be worse.

They are big like Georgetown. That and the zone will be the toughest problem for us. The thing that helps us IMO, is as opposed to Georgetown who does a lot of their damage by passing and cutting, Syracuse likes to dribble a lot. I think we'll be able to defend them pretty well. Whether or not we can grab the defensive rebounds will tell the story.

  CJ Fair and Christmas scare me to death on the offensive glass.  Not sure we can neutralize them.  We need a huge game out of Amir, as I think he is the guy we need to shut down Fair.

When we play man is it safe to assume Dom will be on Carter-Williams?

 Amen to that.  Sampson is the only player I have noticed an improvement when it comes to rebounding.  Really need a full team effort on the boards to have a shot against Cuse.

Obekpa, in his shortened minutes, seems to me to be boxing out better.  He had some big rebounds against Uconn and has rebounded better in the last few games.   D'Lo also rebounds well from the guard position.
