Yeah, I mean I'm saying that despite the fact that Greene was totally ineffective and it was uncomfortable watching him dribble back and forth across the top of Cuse's zone (the announcer said something about SJU violating a fundamental rule of basketball re. the "judicious use of the dribble"), he had a positive attitude and seemed to be trying hard. So I'm giving him credit for the "old college try"! He is being asked to play out of position. We all know Greene can be really good when he has a chance to do what he is good at, hitting that nice mid-range shot where he penetrates and pulls up, hangs in the air, hit it. Think Greene is fundamentally our best guy to have aimlessly dribbling across the top of Cuse's zone with their 36 game winning streak? No, it is D'lo. But D'lo would implode and start jacking up balls, sulking.
So, yeah, I saw second half and think that Greene deserves credit for walking unarmed into enemy fire.
