Nate said Harrison hasn't made up his mind yet?

1) what's nates connect to Dangelo, a Texas kid.
2) wasn't Harrison telling people at MSG he would be back?

I would be shocked if Harrison is back. If Greene does start he can't be focus of the offense. I would like to see the ball in Pointer and Branch's hands majority of the time.

I look at Greene and I see a kid on the verge of breaking out if he can improve his shot.  He has some pro moves to create space regularly one-on-one...I love the floater...he gets to the basket...he has a decent looking shot.  He needs to add 10+ pounds of muscle quickly and work on his shot and keep improving defensively.  He's only a soph!

There will be more space for him next year coming off pick-and-rolls with Sanchez, some better shooters, and hopefully guys that can score inside.  I still think he is better suited for 20 mpg than the 35+ he has been playing.  He's not meant to carry a team, but he can be a back-breaking third guard opposing teams hate to deal with.
+1
I like his game when he plays within himself.  Stay away from the 3 Point shot (which he did last night), play defense, control the ball when it is in his hands-no turnovers and get some assists.  He also has a very composed attitude on the court which is a positive.  Agree with the addition of a little muscle so that he can drive stronger to the hoop which he needs to do more often.  The kid, like Sir, always gives a 100%.

Interesting, I wasn't worried, it seemed certain that he'd be back.
Your 50/50 comment seems about right now though.

Does Lavin really want him back if he can land a suitable replacement like Jordan, fifth year transfer, Juco, etc.? I personally want Harrison back, but you never know what the real sentiments are on both sides. Without any of above options, I strongly feel our present backcourt lacks scoring capability to make noise next year. We'll see.

From the time Pointer's defense yielded a charge and he looked up from the floor and angrily shouted "Let's go!" I knew we had a chance.

His intensity and hatred of losing is the hallmark of a champion.

On the last play of the game if I didn't know better I would have sworn that Pointer willed the shot in.

Correct.  When I went to the Rumble a few years back and we were recruiting Gathers it was Moe and Harrison hanging with Nate, watching Gathers.

Agree, less minutes as a third guard and more defined role and phil will be dangerous.

In all seriousness, if Greene is a major part of the offense next year we will be back in the NIT. He would be fine as a 6th or 7th man. Unfortunately he will be our starting 2 guard.

He was our best player the two games before St. Joe's and had another strong outing last night.  Do you agree with that?

Sir Dom in a landslide.  Good lines from Jakarr, the Aggie, the Square, CO and key late scoring contribution from Amir.  A real "team" victory.

I'm 50/50 at this point.  I was more positive until Nate said that Harrison " has yet to make his decision"..  That makes me think he's gone.  Will be tough for him to sit out a year though, unless he goes the sick cat route .

If somehow we land Jordan,  It won't bother be nearly as much.
What did Harrison show you he wanted to be back before Coach sat him? Steve probably saw the same thing the rest of us saw, and more,  but unlike us he needs to know where he stands. It was reported DH said he was a 2 year guy and to me it looked like he meant a year and a half. If he wants to be here great. If not, Steve's a big boy and knows if one player makes your program, you don't have much of a program. It's up to the fan base not to faint each time Harrison sends a signal. The guys who suit up ain't gonna spit up. To be big time I think we need a point guard with or without Harrison. I think a healthy Phil, with some more work with the staff bound to help. I hope Branch can be big for us a the point, but have not seen it yet.  Go Storm.

obviously pointer...but the question i have...is this the best game pointer has had for us?  its the best i've seen.  he did it on both ends of the floor.  and who knew he could shoot?  much more assertive.  makes me wonder...is this a one time thing or his coming out party?

on a side note...branch had nine points in nineteen minutes.   would have loved to see the seven minutes that limbscome had go to branch.  just wondering why coach is limiting branch's minutes like that considering the short bench.  any thoughts out there?  apologies if covered in another thread.

He went 3/3 from 3 right? thats pretty darn impressive. Imagine if he can shoot it somewhat like that next year, we could potentially have 4 guys that can shoot 3's (Dlo, Dom, phil and branch). I think it probably was his best game, besides the one where he almost had a triple double (cant remember if that was ND1 or UCONN)

I was wondering the same about Branch, I figure lavs is trying to bring him back slowly from injury.

Percentage wise, Doms been our best shooter for most of the year.
But that's mostly due to his shot selection.
He barely takes any shots.  I'd actually like to see him defer to his teammates a little less.

Doms the only of the 4 returning players who's foul shooting, fg%, and 3pt shooting all improved.  Would love to see him take another step forward next season.
Fwiw dangelo actually shot considerably worse this year.

As President of the fan club I'd like to point out he shot 39% this year 37% last year.  So technically an improvement.

I'll be vice president of his fan club. I'll gladly take him back no matter what.
