Three Good Outcomes
« on: April 08, 2013, 05:33:16 PM »
1. As now expected, we get Jordan.

2. Lavin, sometime this month, announces D'Lo has met his expectations and is definitely coming back.

3. We secure the services of a big man transfer, who can rebound, post up and defend for 2014.

I don't see 2 happening as quickly as you say.  But yes it will.

And your lips to God's ears with #3.  It would require another defection however.

Give me the kid from Tulane and have him play this year.

Wish list, but do expect we will have room.

I have no inside info but I think all 3 are definite possibilities

Someone else is going to leave and a jump start on 2014 recruiting with a transfer would be great

I rather have no one leave but these things happen

No formal announcement yet, but it has been stated he wants to come back. Frankly, I expect him back, but would like to hear from SL that all is well. Just some positive information to set course for success next season!

I remember last time you put a list like this together a few of your points came to fruition soon after. Think it was Sanchez news but not sure. Lets hope this one works our just as well!

And regarding your 3rd point am I right in thinking you are taking about a recruit for the next class? In which case we wouldn't need any more defections to open up a spot.

Was thinking next class and you are correct. If we lose another big this year, the need for immediate help in that regard is clear. A fifth year transfer, as Mkras referenced, would negate such a loss.

Third point regards 2014. No transfer necessary. Still wouldn't mind seeing either Christian Jones or Balamou redshirt 2013.

Not if he gets a JUCO for 14.

I'm with you. Either or, but not both. Thing is both could use it and both are most likely 5 option for their position. Just don't like going 2 men down.
