He makes 2 stupid plays per half, but we have got to stick with Branch and let him get confidence.    I truly believe our offense is best with him at point.
He can penetrate better than anyone else in the half court.   And despite his occasional charge or pass thrown away.. he's our best guard to lead the break too.

Severe has 20 points in the first half against Manhattan. If he was playing for us tonight he'd have 2 points on 1-7 shooting like the rest of our team

Rysheed heated up a bit at the end of the 2nd and defensively was very good minus one or two plays. When he puts it together he's going to be a big help.

I disagree. Had a struggling Jordan wide open for a layup on that play where he charged and got blocked from behind. During the cruddy part of the schedule I would just force feed Jordan. Hopefully gets this out of the way early, because if he is going to be good, we are going to need him.

I don't disagree.   Let Jordan play alongside Branch and Harrison in 3 guard sets, and he can take over the point when Branch goes to the bench.   There's plenty of minutes for Jordan; but Branch needs to be given the chance to be the lead guard.

Greene looks like a different player this year. Hopefully it's not just against weaker opponents.

Penn State 84 Monmouth 52. Friday could be a long night for SJU.

Everytime I compliment Branch he turns the ball over on the break.   It drives me nuts.
I don't know anything anymore, just that we barely ever score in rhythm.

Branch runs the fast break like an old man going to get a bowl of soup

FWIW, I counted 3 good moves by Branch on that last possession.   Gave Harrison an open 3, Achiuwa an open lob, and he drove and got fouled.

We should keep shooting 3s, eventually we will wear down the rim and the rim will let a few more 3pt shots in...

The best point guards average 4 to's a game.  Gotta live with his blemishes.  I'm all for it.  Phil can score, not a creator.

Lob passes over the zone against Longwood might work.  As for other teams?

For those of you that complain about the blocks, while I understand your point, it is the only exciting thing we do.
