The fact I have to comment about Hooper is a problem bc he shouldnt be on the court. get a lineup and stick with it. hooper starting is just unacceptable. what are you thinking as a coach at that point. jordan, harrison, dom, sanchez and obekpa...thats your lineup for the year, every game

Hooper has more points than Jakarr, Orlando,  dom, rysheed, and obkepa.combined

*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Hmm

@NYPost_Brazille: Picking up full court really got St. John's going. With so many athletic players on roster, Lavin may think about using strategy more.#sjubb

I do agree that we need to find a lineup and stick to it. I think max should get minutes regardless.

who would've thunk it. a team that cant shoot and is very athletic needs to use their strengths to win and not play to their weaknesses.

How does last year's BE ROY get only  three shots. He is struggling, but does he ever get rock in good position? Man he would gave fared better at Kansas. He is stifled in this quagmire offense.

Agree, when he's gotten the ball in good position he's been good.

Not to beat a dead horse, but  Jakarr gets that dunk because Branch penetrated and drew two defenders...

Lavin sure does love calling timeouts after nice baskets that might give us a little momentum

Really seems like our team doesn't care. Lavin has his work cut out for him.

Absolutey. Have to live with his occasional lapses because he at least takes it to rack.

So tired of winning highlight reel, but losing game. Blocks, dunks with offensive stagnation and D lapses doesn't do it.

I wouldn't have taken Rysheed out. His defense on the perimeter is what's led to our stops.

In view of new D regs, it is smart to penetrate and draw fouls. Branch is at least doing that.

Like we keep saying though, he made a turnover in transition right after the nice dish to Obekpa.
