Too big of a deficit after 1 to come back on a team like Syracuse. If we stayed within 5 points in the 1st, I think we wouldve won. Games probably over now though.

Disagree we came back and took the lead...If Sanchez hit his free throw, we would have been up by 3...If Sampson and Harrison would have hit there free throws we would have been tied or only down by 2....We pissed this game away.

They need to put Pointer on Ennis man on man ASAP.

We made our run and they made theirs. In the end we came up 5 points short. Good teams go through runs. We werent going to completely shut them out in the 2nd.

Sure if we made more clutch shots/free throws late we couldve won, but the Cuse team is a very good team. They aren't going to be kept scoreless for long.

Jordan did a fabulous job on him. Syracuse hit tough shots all day around the rim. Couldnt get stops when we needed them. Proud of the fight, dissapointed in the execution during last 3-4 minutes

This game showed me we have the talent to play with any team in the country, and the piss-poor execution of simple things like missed FT's and missing open looks to lose to any team in the country.  Also, D'lo needs to file a missing person report on his 3 point stroke, because it's been largely missing all year.

I expect our team to compete for the BIg East title.. No reason we can't. We may just have to.

No, but I do believe we had a chance to build a lead and blew it. By not being able to separate ourselves more it gave Syracuse a better chance to take the lead and ultimately win. The frustrating part was that Sanchez and Harrison mission clutch free throws.  Being down by 12 at the half was not a factor because we came early enough where the game was tied and or going back and forth within the last 8mins of the game.

Cuse closed the game out and we didn't simple as that. I am not saying the season is over but our season is more difficult now because we have no signature wins and one bad lost going into the BE season. Here is hoping the other teams in the conference pick up some big wins.

Jordan was great. I can walk out proud, because he led our comeback and we defended our home court. It's hurts to lose, but you can be proud that the #2 team in the nation was sweating.

And, while I love the swagger that Harrison brings, I am beside myself at his play at the end of the game. We figured out the zone, and then decided to do it himself. He's gotta cut that shit out.

I'm not worried about resume's yet, too early for that. We will have our chances come conference play. If we played with that aggressive fearless attitude from the start we probably win this game. Obviously we shot ourselves in the foot during the final 2 minutes and that cost us the game. Lets take care of business the next couple of weeks and get rolling into the Xavier game.

BTW, awesome job by the fans today, that place was rocking

We had our chances.  Missed Ft's down the stretch were key.  I think our biggest concern going forward is our 3pt shooting.  If we would of hit just 25% of the ones we took today we get the W.  In certain situation you don't need a 3 point shot.  example up 60-58 D'lo misses a 3, syracuse comes down ties the game.  It would have been huge if he hit it, but why not work the ball and try and get a good 2 and go up 4.

Need to build on how we have played and win our next 3 going into BE play.

We did extremely well coming back in the second half against their heralded zone.

Jordan can and should start taking over the offense.

Did Harrison take some bad shots the last 4 minutes? absolutely.  The other 16 minutes of the half he was amazing, plain and simple. His defense on Cooney was nothing short of  phenomenal. He held him to a donut, thats +21 for his matchup. Him and Rysheed showed us what our back court is capable of. Rysheed has been fantastic on the ball defensively these past few games.

Wish Jakarr didn't get in foul trouble, he was playing well.

Missed free throws down the stretch, Ennis' penetration and Fair's ability to shoot over Dom were the keys to the loss.  I'm ok with moral victories---except against Cuse. We should have found a way to win this one.

Upper bowl was all Cuse fans. I moved down at halftime and SJU was 60-40 below. We really needed bodies (in red) to fill the empty seats. We need to find 15k loyal fans who will come to every Garden game.

It was a fun game, despite the outcome.  Fun, fun stuff.  This is why one has season tickets. Fun games like this.

St. John's gave a valiant effort in the second half. I really thought you had it.  St. John's looked very good in that second half. Harrison was very good as was Jordan. I know no one likes moral victories, but this was a hard fought game that St. john's can take a lot of positives from going forward. I've always thought St. Johns would be a tournament team this year and I still think their odds are pretty good. St. John's should finish in the top 4 of the BE at this point which should be enough for a bid.

Only Criticism I have is the font on St. John's numbers. The 2s look way too much like 8s.
