I'm hoping for the best on Saturday, but in a lot of ways I think Xavier and @Marquette are the games that will make or break our season.

Depaul without Melvin should be easy, especially at MSG.   They've lost 9 in a row since we let them off the hook at Alumni Hall.

Yep, split Nova & M'Q, preferably winning  the former for RPI issues and hold serve at home. Win a couple in BE T and sitting pretty for NCAA T.

Our first BE tournament game will not be easy.  Probably will be facing a team also needing a win to secure an at large bid.  Beating Nova on the road would obviate the need to beat another bubble team in the conf tourney assuming we take care of business in the regular season.  But for the first time since 2011, I'm actually confident we can do this

The latest bracket has us in Milwaukee (it means the good land) as an 11seed against UCONN. That would be epic...Hopefully we keep winning and continue  to get a better seed.

Gotta. Keep  on winning ,season isn't over. That said, it's comforting to know we have some margin for error. Like a previous poster said though ,our first round BE game is going to be far from a cakewalk.  I'd be very happy winning 3 of the next 4. Winning on the road against Nova would be big.

Winning 2 in BE tourny most likely would include a win over Nova or Creighton in the semis.

I think Neb. has worked themselves into pretty good shape. 7-2 last 9 with wins over Ohio St.& Mich. St. Have they been getting any mention?

They have definitely played their way to the outer edge of the bubble. None of their last 5 games are unwinnable. If they go 3-2 to get to 10-8 and then win a game or 2 in the B10 tourney its gonna be tough to keep them out

Wow if Georgetown drops one to Seton Hall here that would be big for St. John's.

Big day for SJU.  Gtown is off our backs and permanently in the rear view.
San Fran looking to get win #17 up nine on 19-8 St. Mary's.  Gonzaga is playing @ BYU down four.  A home loss here by BYU would be devastating and their 11th loss already.

Youngstown State picked up win #15 by beat a solid 16-8 Milwuakee team.

If only Penn State could knocked off Nebraska.  They've flown up the RPI the last week and a half.  They get unreal fan turnout now with the new arena.

LSU losing to Kentucky also helped SJU. Lunardi said they would have jumped to the First Four.

Has anyone seen Lunardi or any experts tweet anything about the impact of the loss on SJU NCAA scenarios.

Minny losing to Ohio St hurts them.  They have a really tough last few games.  The Ohio St game looked like it would be a big opportunity for them as they led 28-18 at halftime and 30-18 after scoring first in the 2nd half.  And then Ohio St just bludgeoned them.  Going on a 27-5 run to go from 12 down to 10 up and then ran away with it for a final 64-46.

Every other bubble team is going to lose games to so-so teams. We lost today to a top 10 team on the road. We win the games we should, we are in.

In my time as a fan I can only really remember one year where we were truly a bubble team. Shelton Jones, Boo Harvey, Porter team won I think 18 games and got in as a low seed. I remember being nervous selection Sunday. Every other year we were either def in or def out. Am I missing another year?
