There should never be less then a combined 40 minutes from Rysheed and Jamal, unless we win by 25+ or they both foul out.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

That can happen with Green still getting more then Branch. When Branch commits yo getting to the rim and line more, then his minutes go up. If he starts knocken down open shots that to will increase his time. Fact of life, coach trusts Green.

Obekpa. How he doesn't start is beyond me. I know his offense sucks. I don't even care. As bad as his offense is, Sampson's defense is that much worse. Obekpa is the best shot blocker in the BE since Jason Fraser.

I watched Branch last night pass up a wide open 3, only to take two steps inside the 3 point line and brick one. Pointer does that too. Either shoot it, or don't shoot it, but have an idea what you want to do. Branch has to penetrate. When he does that, I want to see more of him, but it's rare that he does. I don't think he likes getting hit.

People can say what they want about Greene, but he plays w confidence.

Let's give Bourgault a shot.  He's a really controlled player and passes well.

Marco has looked much more comfortable out there than Hooper has.

Has Marco played a meaningful minute yet?

meaningful being defined as when the game is still in question.

That's been annoying me as well.   I get it, they aren't the best shooters on the team.   But every game I see Dom pass up wide wide wide open shots.   He's a highly talented D1 player... if defenses are going to give them 10 ft of space, he needs to shoot the damn ball.    Putting the ball on the deck so he can take a 16footer with someone in his face is not a better shot!

That play infuriated me, as well.  If Branch could keep the defense honest even a little bit by hitting 1-2 outside shots a game, he would be really really good.  Can say the same thing about Jordan.

At least Jordan took a couple of jumpers yesterday. IMO Branch's shot has actually looked pretty nice coming out of his hand, he just needs to put them up with a little more frequency and get into a rhythm. He sure does make quick passes and decisions otherwise though, I really appreciate that.

Rysheed should play at least 25 minutes every game. No excuse for him not to. He will get better faster that way and he brings an element to this team that no one else can duplicate. Would also like to see Hooper play more. He stretches the D and opens things up on offense.

Sheed, Sheed and more Sheed. Would be happy if Hooper and Marco didn't see another minute all year.

Branch. When sheed isn't on the floor, Jamal needs to be running the point.  I'd also like to see him play alongside Jordan for a stretch or two

I would say Branch if Jordan isn't like you said but Branch last night if particular was a bit too out of control.  Shocked to only see 1 turnover but seemed like more.  He did rush one shot with like 30 on the shot clock that had me ill.

Branch needs to stop fouling. Had 3 fouls in 6 mins vs. Cuse and picked up two quick fouls last night.

Marco and hopper are better then the walkons. But closer in skill level to them then our starters. Branch is good. Someone just has to let him know, He could score, but he doesn't try to. He could be the key to the season . If he gets it we can be really good.
A good pg with Jordan and Harrison on the wings could be deadly .
Been a fan since early 90's. Team has never had depth. We do this year lavin has to figure it out.

I agree about Branch.  Puzzling.

Sheed will be at 30+/gm by tourney time.  We need that - and JB needs more time too.

I can live with that as long as there is always a point guard on the court.

i say Bourgault because he is a senior and when he plays he does a decent job but i wouldn't give him a ton more.

Branch needs more minutes...Greene needs to be relegated to back up 2G and some time at the 3 spot if we go small depending on matchup.

Not sure why anyone is even discussing Hooper/Bourgault...they should not see more than a few minutes a game.  Bourgault has looked better than Hooper during limited minutes though.

When you're a kid from New York and you do it in New York, that lasts forever!

Am I the only one that would like to see Karr get a few less minutes until he stops being a liability on the defensive end? He's got the physical tools needed to be a great defender but he just doesn't seem to fully understand defensive rotations and he looks clueless when it comes to pick and roll defense. I would feel comfortable with him on the court without CO there to cover for him
