What good is recruiting athletic players if they can't score and we don't utilize their athleticism by pressing and running.

I agree, the starting lineup set the tone for this one.    Lavin can't be giving token minutes to Balamou and walkons just to appease them.
And if it's for disciplinary reasons .. he's got to get control of this team.

  I agree..  Terrible start we had.  Not ready to play...again..  Recurring theme.  Lavin under contract 2 more years?   They won't extend him or give him the raise he wants..  Back to drawing board again..  mark my words.

I don't think Lavin fears for his job.  At all.   This is the complete opposite of UCLA where the administration wanted a final four ever year.   THe administration here will never fire him.  And he knows that.
If he was coaching for his job this season he would have a little more fire, and he wouldn't play around with Ndaye, Balamou, Marco, Gift etc.
He can be cute, because he doesn't feel any heat.   At all.
