He does need to try and get away from the silly frustration reach ins.  Need him on the court as much as possible.  One of the reasons he played so little early on was that he had 2 fouls within 3 minutes every game it seemed. Tough to get going when you are grabbing pine before you break a sweat.  He's done a much bette job of late, obviously.

Jordan cannot let Arcidiacono, aka flopapotamus, get to him.  Jay Wright will be screaming at the refs to call a foul anytime Jordan gets near that flopper.

Now that will be a fun drinking game! Take a shot of your beverage of choice every time Arcidiacono flops.

We should let Greene guard him - guaranteed to stay foul free and Arc will just get layups instead of needing to flop...

That would be great to watch Anachrnaphacacxzxzx flopping when Greene is giving him 2 feet

No. The Triangle will probably have to spend the night matched up with their leading scorer James Bell as is usually the case game in game out.  We can't waste him defensively on Arch.  I see Bell is listed as 6 ft. 6 in. so perhaps he'll get a break in his typical assignment and Hollywood will go bigger on Bell.  Or not.  Fuquan is tall and Lavin had no qualms about using Phil on him.

He'll do it on the other end of the court too, Jordan has to watchout for the phantom "charging" calls.

Carmine, why on earth do you call Greene the Triangle?  If you are just calling him the triangle because its a shape and so is a circle, which is what WASJU calls him, you are really losing a step (or 10) on your nicknaming.

D'lo, another guard on our team who is a better defender than Phil, shut down bell the last time they played nova. 4 pts 1-9 shooting.

Phil must have learned man to man hand positioning from a local instructor...

Get with the program kid.  I've been calling Phil random geometric shapes for two years now.  I'll use any shape but a circle.

I'm thinking of going with a new moniker.  "Deep Dish".  It works on two levels; 1) Phil is a Chicago native...a city known for it's deep dish pizza and 2) Mean Joe has now "dished" out assists in 8 straight contest after a mid-season assist slump that had his sizeable fan base clamoring for him to share the rock more productively.  As always with Phil, asked and answered!

I'm used to you being witty.   Resorting to random geometric shapes is just sad.  I can get behind Deep Dish.  The best part being....the shape of a pizza is...a CIRCLE.
