and I don't think we really need someone that good,

Good basketball players are like money and hair.  You can never have too much.

I think all of the kids are just upset that Dante Restaurant closed.

If Lavin had patronized it like Looie did this never would have happened.

Atwood still available from JUCO...6'9 beast PF who can score.  He might be a wrap for Iowa this weekend, though.

And all that is assuming that we don't somehow land an impact player, via recruitment or transfer. Despite the staff's shortcomings, they have pulled some major rabbits out of hats in the spring signing period. I mean up until the very end (if I remember right) most people did not expect Jordan or JKS to end up here.

There are no recruits of remotely Jordan or JKS's caliber that is unsigned.
Transfers possibly.    But you can't hold out for a Rysheed Jordan when they're all signed.

That's true, I don't expect someone that good and I don't think we really need someone that good, my point was that I trust the staff to pull a pretty good player or two and then maybe a project (though I wouldn't really be holding my breath that said project will ever develop).

Those are fair expectations, I think the staff can find a serviceable role player or two.
But I do think we need someone pretty good.   We were short of the tournament this season with Sampson and Sanchez, if we're not adding players that are better than them how will we improve?

By the time Lavin is done with his "gig" just about all spring kids will be gone.

The joke continues, program falling apart around him, he get's out of dodge....

When did you doubt him before? After reading 10 of your posts I figured you were him.

Kills me how Altman, McCaffrey, etc., are making hay on their Juco transfers, while we're just left mumbling to ourselves, "Hey, what's the deal with this Juco transfer?"  Another head scratcher.
