They definitely can win...  as with all of SJU's games this year, SJU will need to stay out of foul trouble and not shoot 25% from 3...
SU is not playing like SU so far this year...

Playing against the zone we are going to have make 3's. Yes we can get inside the zone having someone play the middle and also setting picks and driving but the weakness of a zone is open 3's and we will have to take and make our fair share. If Phil, Dlo and Myles can hit there threes, not even at like 50% I am talking like 35-40% then I think we a shot to take this one. You can talk about whatever other scenarios you like but if we shoot 3-18 from three we aren't winning the game.

I hope the game plan is not to pass the ball around the perimeter and chuck up a 3 when a defender on Cuse is slow rotating over.

Need to get the ball to Dom at the foul line...maybe even Rysheed. Rysheed and Dom are two guys who can get to the basket from the FT line. Have Dom in the short corner, Sheed at the FT line, CO on the block, Greene/Harrison spotting up when the ball gets to the middle of the zone. Think Branch plays more too just because of his passing ability and his ability to penetrate into zone.

Im feeling its us who comes out and strikes first with a big lead with syracuse attempting to make a comeback. Lets hope they come up short.

I think our defense will hold up well enough, but you'll know in the first 5 minutes whether we can move the ball well enough to win this game.
Good ball movement and we have a good chance to win.   If it's all isolation plays by Jordan Greene and Harrison, then we lose big.

Uhh yea. Pretty difficult to isolate guys against a 2-3 zone.

If CO could somehow stay out of foul trouble this is the year to beat them.

I'll be there....will be a tough one. I think we have the backcourt experience, but they have the front court depth.  I'd be more confident in MSG but I'll be rooting hard up at the Dome. Go Johnnies!

Traveling to the game with a large group today. Will be interesting to see how our veteran group performs on the road in front of 20k.  Keys to the game are Phil and walkon knocking down the open shots that cuse will dare them to take.  That should open up the lanes for Jordan and Dee to operate.  Obviously need Chris under control and staying out of foul trouble. Do not allow crazy orange run in first 10 minutes because with that crowd they will be run out of the building.  If they stay composed early I expect these kids to settle in and scrap their way to a win.
