If the Seton Hall game were today we would be 1 point dogs.

According to who? We beat them twice last year. They lost 2 of their best players. They are killing bad teams. Lets see how they play against a decent team.

Vegas lines are usually pretty similar to the KenPom projection. We are currently projected to lose that game by 1.

Poison, they're #15 on CBSSports, #23 KenPom. They'll be in the 18-23 range tomorrow and likely won't fall out of the top 25 for the rest of December if they play to their potential and with a sense of urgency, which shouldn't be a problem. The first 3 games of the Big East season could all be against ranked opponents, and I think we match up favorably against all 3. We should be heavy favorites against Hall and Butler IMO. Dec. 31st @Hall Jan 3rd Home vs. Butler ***Jan 6th Home vs. Villanova*** The Villanova game has ridiculous potential. 9PM in the Garden on a Friday night, should draw 10K+, WOW.
Seton Hall and Butler are kicking ass too. I'm with ya, they have a chance to be very good, but slow down.

Let us all remember that we are undersized big time.  If we use our quickness properly the talent is there to be ranked in the top 25.  We do need to pressure more, half and full court, to create TOs off our quickness in order to balance our lack of size.  Think a poor mans version of the 64-65 UCLA teams with Goodrich and Hazzard.    Should hit 21-27 this week.  Let our speed and quickness create pandemonium and easy baskets.  We WILL need this when playing top teams.

No. 18 Ark. trails Clemson at Clemson by 7, but it's very, very early.

AP voter Jerry Carino has us at #17. Those are all the ballots I could find so far tonight. 22, 14, 16, and 17, we could be in the teens, pretty cool.

They weren't, but if you beat Syracuse in the pre season in the Dome, you're going to get a lot of credit for doing it. I was hesitant to expect a ranking, but I'm not sure. We might actually be ranked. This was a 12 point w. The final score doesn't tell the entire story of course, but 12 points is 12 points.

Does anyone know that website where you can see how all the voters voted for each poll?
