Bottom line is that with Jordan we win this game. For all his dumb plays and turnovers, his athleticism would have caused all kinds of problems for Butler. And he provides a much needed second scoring option. If this were last years team and we had more scoring we would be ok, but now how this group is constituted. If Sheed is done, I don't see is making the tourney. And I would really feel for the seniors - especially Dlo - if that happens.

That's it!  Not enough guys who can consistently score.  The short bench isn't so, bad when you have 4 or 5 players who can put the ball in the bucket.  Not the case with this group.  It's made even worse with the vacancy of Jordan.

Are you going to quote me their record again? A loss to villanova and Jordan out for the year has them nit bound at best again. Hope it doesn't happen but lavin is a snake and not to be believed

Espn has Adonis in the box score. Got excited till I realized they mistook Jones for a 300 lb Latino.

To say Phil Greene is the weak link is taking those stats as some pure answer.  I do like you taking a look at overall efficiency and who has picked up some of the shooting load this season.

Phil is not the main #1 issue, even these past two games.  A lack of adequate reserve players to throw out there to give some breathers to the starters is the main issue.  Rysheed being out is hurting effectiveness due to MP.

I do like the psychoanalysis.  DSMs can be twisted and turned like a nose of wax at times, but I'll give your examples some more thought - wow.

An enjoyable read as ever Fun, but of base with Jordan thing. Would love to put blame on Lavin, but if half the things being said about Jordan are true, I am not sure what could have been done to prevent this. You could blame him for recruiting kids, then not knowing how to handle them once they come here. You can sign me up for that.

[/quote]Seeing all the issues up to now tells us RJ should have gone to Temple for his own good. Or maybe gone pro last year and played 3,000 miles away from home.

Again I can only go but what I have been told, but from that Jordan would be an issue anywhere he went.

No big secret, was told by someone on this board and another person with ties to the program that Jordan disappears from time to time. They don't know where he is. Eventually he is tracked down in Philly. Practices, school, team functions, sometimes he don't show up. Kid is not a "punk" per Baldi, but not sure you can coach a team that way. From what I was told Lavin has tried everything.

Well since a harmless Animal House quote accidentally unlocked the secret of your first name, I am hesitant in what I post. Wouldn't want to uncover the mystery that is your middle name. You are a Boo Harvey fan, so that puts you in the 35 to 40 range. Seriously, what 35-40 year old doesn't know every line from Animal House????

Truth be told, when you see your name in all caps , classic movie quotes isn't the first thing to come to mind...
I work in sports media...for a certain radio station...Fact is, last year I had Fratto contact people at my job based on something I tweeted...  That is the reason I was a bit sensitive...  Make sense?

End of Story...

Ok, thought you were concerned I was trying to mess up your credit or steal your identity or something. Now that everything is cleared up, none of these Jordan rumors have made their way to you?

Branch let point guard go wherever he wanted all day as well. Funny we are a good defensive team but it is really because of only 2 guys.
