Does this make us look bad?  The laughing stock that has become SHU suspended their star 2 games for an elbow, and we suspended our shot blocker for 1 half (obviously two different incidents, and as has been pointed out the Obekpa elbow was barely visible on screen)...Personally I'm ok with it, and I think if their season was going differently the suspension might not be as severe.

From all indications Sina is a good kid too and was very close with Gibbs.  If the rumors are true it doesn't say much for a certain SH freshman.  Props to Lavin for keeping the fleas out of the bed in this case.

wouldn't go so far as to say Sina & Gibbs are best buds but there are major issues in that locker room.

Gibbs and Whitehead just don't like each other and their 3 star freshman are making life difficult for everyone

Gibbs and Sina were roommates last year, not this year. Usually when you find a good match, you keep it

Tiny wins as another upperclassman is taken out.  They could end up with a record worse than last year's 17-17.  Can't say they are the youngest team as they began season with an experienced core of Mobley/Gibbs/Sina.

not that i care, but what happens to Tiny when Willard gets fired?  I can't see him getting another college gig (never was able to get one before).  does he go begging Lincoln to take him back?

I don't think success this season at SH was reasonable in the first place. They overachieved for a period of time this year, and then they utterly collapsed. Not so different than Felipe, Zendon and Tarik.

Next year Delgado, Whitehead, Carrington and Rodriguez will all be sophs. If they work hard this summer, they can go places, but the team needs time. I don't think this is on the coach. He's got a young team. No surprise there.

You mean Delgado, Carrington and Rodriguez.  Whitey is gone next year.

Any word on Mobley? His knee kept him out Monday. If Hall doesn't have Sina, Gibbs, and Mobley then a loss is inexcusable.

In college football if you are called for a targeting penalty in the first half you are thrown out of the game. If penalty occurs in the second half you are thrown out of the game and must sit the first half of the next game. If I remember correctly CO's elbow game early in the game while Gibbs incident took place late in a blowout so not to penalize him further would have been like no punishment at all.

Mobley could be sidelined again this weekend, but I'm sure we'll hear more by Friday.  Regardless, he probably won't be 100%, if he does play.  Without Gibbs, Sina, and Mobley being less than a 100% should be a win for us.

Harrison and Obekpa aren't 100%. Not even close.

If you could guarantee me the 9 and 9 right now?  I'ld take it.  It's no slam dunk we get there. 10 and 8 would constitute one heck of a closing run.

Not even close?  In what way?

In a hobbling around like Walter Brennan on the Real McCoys way.

If we play like we did yesterday ,we wont win. This is the metropolitan area show case.

Absolute must win. Injuries are no excuse, every team has them at this point of the season

If Seton Hall plays like they've played of late, then they won't win either.  We can do this all day long.

I don't care anything about this being a metropolitan area show case.  That stuff is overhyped, IMO.
