Packed house.  A sea of red.  Last game at CA for the seniors.  It should be a fun environment and result in a victory for our guys.

Btw, is it Sr. Day?  It is usually the last game at CA but there has been no mention of anything.  I can't remember if it has been done at the last MSG game, so I assume it is this weekend.  Terrible job by the athletic department.

Johnnies win by ten, setting us up for Xavier rematch, which is hopefully better than last year's MSG crushing defeat.

Do we win by double digits without Harrison and Obekpa?

I thought Senior Day was always the last game of the year on campus

 I don't know...maybe.  They aren't both sitting out so it's a moot point

Don't forget--tomorrow is Malik Sealy Boobblehead Doll giveaway for first 5000.  Also Chris should be in the house as he will be honored by school Hall of Fame (many years late)

this is a trap game need to destroy  the Hall  and be ready for monday night, hopefully a better turnout than last year vs. Xavier

HTF is any game a trap game when your fighting desperately to get into the ncaa Tournament?

I maybe in the minority but I would sit Obepka. He's is cleary not healthy at all, think a few more days off would do him good. He hasn't been helping us these last few games. Play small and use Amar a lot with Joey mixed in a little bit.

I think he should sit the Xavier game also, that would give him a week and a half of rest to get ready for Georgetown. I know we need him, but we also need a healthy CO

We've seen this team play up or down to the level of competition many times.  Pointer confirmed it by saying they only play well when their backs are against the wall.  Like you said, they need to understand that their backs are against the wall every game for the rest of the season, but on paper this might be our easiest remaining game (given the Gibbs injury and the way they've been playing), so the fear is they will take SHU lightly - something they cannot afford to do.
With D'lo hurting, Dom needs to be the leader of this team until D'lo is healthy.  Obviously, every game, the coaching staff should have the players mentally prepared, but the players who are leaders need to do their part as well.

I don't think they will, but if they take shu lightly and they lose tomorrow then I'll say a huge F EM being being stupid. If anything, go up by 20pnts mis way throgh the 2nd half then start toying with shu.
Maybe Dom will need to scream at everyone to get their heads out of their asses if they don't care about tomorrow's game.

Errrr...oops.  Typo.  Gibbs suspension, Mobley injury, also left out the Sina thing.  They have a lot of things going wrong, so do we - things get jumbled.

My biggest friticism of Lavin is not his X's and O's a umen or his recruiting.  It is his inability, so it seems, to get the team to play with a sense of urgency from day one.  The most glaring example of this was the first Seton Hall game.  They came out ready for a rivalry game and we looked like we were ready for  Monmouth.  Also, when we are up  20 at the half, we should want to win by 40 rather than letting the other team back in the game while we  are just trying to hang on.

3'lo and Oblockpa will play.  Savior? 50-50.

Who's idea was it to switch Senior day to an Msg game?  I can understand wanting the extra motivation of Senior day coinciding with the Gtown game,  but it's always been the last Alumni hall game and I'm a big traditionalist.
