If the question is literally who is the better college player at end of college career, the answer is going to be Sir'Dom.  He does more better and will have the best single season between the two of them,

If you judge it based on who had the better college career, it will be pretty hard for Dom to have had a better career than Lavor at this point.  Lavor went to the Elite 8, was part of a 3 seed and a 2 seed, and has a BE title under his belt.

It is an interesting comparison.  Dom the last 10 games has been as good as anyone in the country (just about).  But if we're also considering his junior season, that hurts the "overall profile," if you will.

Lavor was more consistent and had a better outside game than Pointer.

Assuming Dom finishes as strongly as he has been playing, my vote is for Dom.  I loved Lavor as a player, but Dom just affects the game in more ways than Lavor did.  I am voting based on who is ending their career the better player --- I think there is no question Lavor had the better career.

You're drafting your intramural team, Postell or pointer!

Lavor was so much better his first 3 years. He also had a great senior year. David Cain was a better comparison .

I think it's very close. Let's not forget how important Postell was in some of our program's biggest wins. What great wins has this group led us to? Let alone Dom?

Postell was also guarding guys that were much bigger than him, but the difference is that as a soph, he came back 100% ready to be a starter. Dom didn't.

Dom's success has been just this year. Postell had a steady climb up.

If I was taking one or the other, I go with Postell, because of his ability to play the 2, 3, 4 and even 5 at times.

For a career, Lavor definitely has the better.  He had over 1400 points and 700 rebounds.  At this point Dom has nearly 500 points and 100 rebounds less in 8 less games.  Lavor also significant scoring teammates such as Felipe/Zendon/Bootsy/Ron et.al., and he still scored.

Looking at Dom for the last month, I believe his dominance in the period was not matched by Lavor in such a span.

As LoganK said, Dom is playing at an incredible level these last 10 games.

16.5 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 3.1 BPG, 1.7 SPG, 54% FG

I voted for postel . Still I am a 36 year white guy and am thinking about buying a number 15 jersey and growing cornrows.

Postell had a better career, Pointer having a better indivdual  season. Give to Postell as he has a 7 -0 lead in NCAA tourney games

Sir'Dom after hearing about the loyalty he had for his intramural team of non-athletes.

It's no comparison unless we dance.  If we don't then Dom is garbage and Postell is Postell.

Dom would have had more points and assists if he took Postel's place, playing with a bunch of guys who would have been a help to him. The 2 years he had to play with Sampson was a career killer. Had Harkless stayed, and Sampson never showed Dom would have showed improvement every year. Sampson jammed it up, and Phil doesn't much make guys better either. At least Dom got it going this year. Of course this is just me speculating.  My making Doms case, I'm not intending to take anything away from Postell.

Both were great athletes, Lavor did more than Dom with what he had and could shoot and was great for more than one year.  No question, Post it.
