Hopefully a winning season next year and a very young and talented roster for '18 might attract Bol but competition will be very stiff. This may have been touched on before but I wonder if Chris has any personal relationship with the kid being that he was close with his father and should know the family.

Mullin knows kid & family well, so SJU should be in hunt. That quest, however, includes battling Kansas, which is not only closer to home, but obviously an elite program.

You would think, huh. Everything I've read he has very little to no interest in our beloved Johnnies.

Mullin is a really bad Godfather. Maybe missed birthdays
or his Commmunion or something.

MUllin was the a different son's Godfather (step brother).

Perhaps there is some family bond there but given Manute Bol died ~7 years ago, Bol Bol would have been perhaps 9-10 and unlikely Bol would know Mullin much as they were out of NBA for a while..

Very surprised there is no mutual interest with all the connections.
