Postgame Notes: To Be Posted

IU is pissed. Expect another spanking.

We all  know what this season is about. Mullin was left with nothing, gonna be a horrible season so don't take the beatings to heart.
But damn it's still hard to watch.

When watching Lavin's recruit their first year, I kept saying we won't ever see this crap basketball again thinking that Lavin would have them rocking, but  years later we're at that same point.

It's hard to imagine that after this year that we would see this happen again.
I'm looking forward to next year and beyond. Just remember this crappy season when we're partying like it's 1985 again.

I really dislike a lot Indiana's players but they're a talented group. I really disliked James Blackmon, Robert Johnson, Troy Williams, and Thomas Bryant in high school. It's funny because all those kids were kind of jerks but at the same time so is Crean so maybe it makes sense.

Bryant getting easy positioning.

That shot he made going up and under against Amar and Ron was ridic. Can't stop that.

That 2nd foul on Sima was really weak. College refs need to stop sending players to the bench by calling 1 or 2 cheap fouls on them. I get that they want the game to be more free flowing but it helps nobody when there is a whistle every possession and best players only play 20 minutes because they are constantly in foul trouble.

The guards aren't closing out well and it's a struggle to get any type of open look. They've missed the few open looks they've had. Lucky to only be down 11 so far

Agree.  But he already had good positioning to get that shot off.

That set play for 3 that they ran out of the U8 was beautiful and I am happy.

Feel bad for these kids. This was a bad tournament to put them in. They just are not ready to compete with teams like this. I hope they don't get demoralized.

Kids usually have shorter memories than fans.

Indiana shot 64% overall and 46% from three in first half and we are only down 11.

I like how we're making it competitive.

Sima making freshman mistakes we didn't see in Queens.

Love our fight though, I expect this to be how a lot of our games go in the Big East.

The 3pt play hurts, but we're hanging in there.   Like Paultz said, the kids seem to have a short memory.

Balamou's three FGM were all really nice drives off the dribble.
