Arguably our most likely eligible player today to attempt Euro-Step in a game.  Huge....

Seriously though,  he's improved, he plays with energy, seems like great teammate on bench.. not much more we can ask for given where we are.

And if anything, he'll always be remembered for the Syracuse gsme.

I've been really impressed at the transformation of Amar. From last year to this year and beginning of this year till now. He's quicker shooting the ball and very decisive with making decisions. He always gives good energy (even on the bench) and is very talkative. He's improving defensively and isn't fouling at an alarming rate like he once was.

His confidence shooting the rock is very good and I actually don't mind when he puts it up. Guys are starting to realize he can shoot and it's opened up the pump 'n' drive game for him where he's doing a good job of protecting the ball and tucking it into his hip. It's not perfect but its way ahead of where I thought he'd be.

Share some thoughts on the Italian Stallion.

I really didn't like him at first.  But he's okay at some things we need.  Interior defense, toughness.  Stretch 4.  He'll get better every year, and when he walks out the door, he'll be pretty good, IMO.

He's a good team ambassador and great for the Euro connection. But in my opinion he'll never be more than a player coming off the bench.

I'm ok with him coming off the bench being a pick and pop guy. He plays with good energy and he looks a little more competent every time. Sneaky solid shot blocker too.

He is big and we need big.  I agree his energy level and toughness are excellent and his play off the ball setting screens etc. is important.  Will never start but will develop into a solid big off the bench.  Liking the way he has started going to the hole, I wouldn't want to get in his way.  5 more big man fouls and he uses them, not always well, but he knows how to whack.
