There must be some mistake. I don't see Mussini's name on this list.

Good for Yakwe. Big things to come for him.

Very well deserved- by far one of our best players this season and undisputed top underclassmen. The future is very bright for him.  Once he has help next year we will win many more games.

The Our Savior duo of Felix and Yakwe has outplayed the entire team and even their former teammate Diallo this season. That was certainly unexpected.  Let us not forget Yakwe was technically high school senior this season and still brought his game to a higher level.

Felix had one of the worst senior seasons any St.John's player has ever had. Probably the worst, actually.

Sima averaged more points, rebounds, assists, steals and shot a better fg% than Yakwe #disputed

Yakwe turned 18 in October . He is and should be a freshman. All big east is well deserved.
Felix didn't have a bad senior year. He just isn't that good. If he came back for a 5th and 6th year, he still would not be good. Still I am sure he will find a job playing some where and wish him luck.

Technically, that's true, but the numbers lie. Yakwe started late, and he missed a lot of games against the lower level teams. When Sima broke his hand, Yakwe stepped in, and performed better than Sima. He rebounded better, blocked more shots and went up strong with the ball. He is clearly the better player. (Right now)

He was better as a freshman.

You could also make the argument that Sima's injury slowed him down and without that he had the better year.  Or that at the end of the year he was already back to being the better player once he got his feet back under him. 23 pts 8 rebs in last two games vs 7 pts and 6 rbs for Yakwe

Think about the teammates they will have next year v the teammates leaving after this year.

Are Ponds, Ahmed, Friedenberg, Owens and LoVett better than MVoika, Johnson and Balamou? A better supporting cast will allow both Yakwe and Sima to develop into their natural position. Hopefully these guys will all be on campus together this summer developing chemistry.

Sima - Better shoot a lot of free throws and don't ever dribble twice into the paint again.
Yakwe - You too could shoot free throws. See a lot of alley oops from Lovett in your future.

Oh really what games were you watching? When I last checked that honor belongs to johnson and ron. They sucked from a production standpoint to flat out laziness on the court.
This was felix first and only year getting real burn. I dont call averaging 7 points a game and showing hustle and energy unlike most others one of the worst in history.

Hey silly person, look at these two players senior year stats

Player A played 27 minutes a game:

12 pts / 3.8 reb / 1.7 ast / 1.3 steal / .3 blocks / .37 FG / .73 FT

Player B played 35 minutes per game

13pt / 3.2 reb / 1.6 ast / .9 steal / 0 blocks / .42 FG / .72 FT

One of them "sucked" and the other is Phil Greene. Lulz.

Johnson played much better as the season wore on. Ron became a complete disaster. He isn't physically able to play basketball. Balamou played lousy defense and couldn't finish anything. At least Johnson improved and contributed. A lot of his points came in garbage time, but this is a garbage team, so who cares?

Balamou played last year probably more than he should have. He was absolutely given a chance, and he didn't take advantage of it. Is that supposed to be Lavin's fault, too?

Balamou can't finish??? Um WHAT?
He can't shoot and not a smart defender, but finishing statement is ludicrous!

Hey buddy I dont need your sarcastic remarks and neither does the board for that matter. Phil did not chuck up nonsense shots time after time to take us out of possessions time after time.  I dont care if he average 30 points if his hustle is non-existent and he has a pattern of poor decisions with the ball and turnovers
At least Felix knew his limitations and tries to get his teammates involved in not being a selfish player. And he can finish  play defense, and rebound despite being forced to play out of position (which we had no choice)

Three points. First, I'm not your buddy. Second, my mastery of irony is universally admired, nearly. Third, you said Johnson's production "sucked," whereas his production was nearly identical to PG IV's, who you think doesn't. Now you say you don't care about his production, which is fine, but that's different from what you said before.

No it isn't. He's not a great finisher because he had one dunk against Seton Hall.

Every single point he scored this year was going hard to the basket. Makes tough layups in traffic all the time. You want to criticize Felix, knock yourself out, he is not a good all around basketball player but finishing is the one thing he does well and why he has a BE scholarship
