In very few of them did I mock players, except Phil Greene for being an over rated one dimensional nothing burger

For you, this is progress.  Most of your anti-Phil rantings denied he had Any dimension.  A few years down the road he'll probably be your second fav from that squad after 3'lo.

Here's another dimension.  His last two seasons he had an other worldly few 18 turnovers in 797 minutes played as a junior, than only 36 turnovers in 1150 minutes played his senior year. Best on the team and likely best in the conference and among the best in the nation those seasons.  All adding up to a career nearly 2 to 1 assist/turnover ratio.

And here's yet another dimension (not only of sight and sound...but of mind):

Phil - Our shortest player

So the grad student is going to be the big recruit

There is nobody else on the radar

Do you think next year are big recruits will be 50 and under recruits or the expectations should be more realistic and hopefully maybe top 100

How could anyone possibly answer that question?

Hopefully there will be some positive news on the recruiting front

I know that ST jeans does good job on game day and will make a great head coach one day

But with his upbeat personality shouldn't they start making him recruit also

The more recruiters the better chance of landing someone.

I disagree on St. Jean being asked to recruit.

We're not asking Matt A to draw up the plays or the workouts so we shouldn't ask St. Jean to recruit.

We apparently have two of the best recruiters in the business..  St. Jean needs to stay focused on player development which is his strength and aligning w/ Mullin on in-game strategy. The little I know about college recruiting, an upbeat personality may help but there's a lot of inner workings that are well beyond a nice smile that we rarely hear about.

I agree. Never thought I would say this, but based on the way he has played lately, think he would get a descent amount of burn next year. Would like to see him return.

I wouldn't get overly upset about Christian Jones using a 5th year somewhere else, but he definitely has shown that he can contribute here.   He improved a ton.  If he leaves it's only good wishes for him.  We shall see what the staff comes up with to close out the year recruiting.

Honestly, good for Jones that he improved towards the end here.  But his presence will only impede the development of Yakwe Ahmed and Freudenberg.
Hes shown us everything he has and in my opinion he isn't a player I want in my 7 man rotation.  That's all there is to it.  It's simply business.

Saint John's is the only seven win team in the country that needs more underclassmen and fewer seniors who can score 30 points in a game.

The Slice and Matt A beef is real. And it's about who is stepping on whose shoes while recruiting. 1 guy wants 1 recruit, the other says no way
