Don't know Moose, hell don't know any of you. Their is so much dumb a*s s**t said here, way wrong and factually incorrect.  Then their is stuff that has legs but never comes to fruition.  What he said is correct. Might Slice stay, yes.  But their is an issue. And please stop assuming you know what these kids are thinking, whose using who, who REALLY was interested unless you know. The only thing stupider than stating for a fact what a 17 yr old you don't know is thinking is assuming every kid we lose is because we got outworked, or the kid got paid off.

One would think the issue would have to be pretty severe for Slice to bail...not getting along with a coworker ( unless it's the head guy ( Mullin) ) is par for the course.

Cushy job at home for a nice paycheck?  Seems like it would take more than competiveness to drive him away.

If true and if it happens, looks bad for Mullin.  He put this thing together.

Maybe he misses Kentucky? Some people like that shit.

Why do you dislike all parts of the country that aren't New York so much?

This whole things sounds childish. Also I'm not a fan of giving credit to assistant coaches for recruits. No need to keep a tally. We all know
Matt and Slice are damn good at what they do. Slice will always be able to pull his weight.

When you recruit well as a staff, the whole staff should be congratulated. It's a group effort.

Paultzman/Moose"

When they first hired Matt and Slice we were suppose to get Herron and Rowan struck out on both.

This year struck out on Aldkins and Maker.

Now the big recruits we are going after is a 5th year grad student from Arkansas State

Are you disappointed in how the recruiting is turning out from five star recruits to a grad student and a transfer probably from some hi profile school like Delaware

Who would be are recruit next year I am sure they will strike out with Tucker.

Say what you want about Lavin when he put his mind to it he was a great finisher the one big recruit he couldn't finish was Brisco and nobody in College basketball could compete with Coach Cal in recruiting

It beginning to look like we might have been better off keeping Lavin and tell him not to be so lazy.

Sorry I am just disappointed in the type of recruits they are now going after.

Is there any hope for next year to get a real impact recruit

I think most of the country is made up of simpletons. The further away you go from NY, the more you'll find. There is a reason why Donald Trump is so popular in this country.

What's your excuse for DeBlasio then, or was it a bunch jersey drivers that came in and voted for him at the last second?

I know the post was for Paultz and Moose but I couldn't just let it go. You expect the staff to land 5 star guys after being on the job less then a year and having a roster of 3 players left over that won 8 games? that's some pretty insane expectations. If you wana criticize the game planning and in game coaching okay that might be reasonable but to question the recruiting when we have #1 class in the conference coming in because we haven't landed any 5 star players is crazy. What 5 star players did Lavin land? Give this staff time, you are ready to give up without the staff even having time to build anything. These schools have been on some of these kids for years and we were playing catchup. We are involved with a lot of high level kids for 2017 and 2018. We aren't Kentucky or Kansas and land multiple 5 star players per year. We have 3 impact recruits coming in next season from all account and more will come.

How many five star kids are there each year?  It is not reasonable to expect we will regularly land them....probably ever.  Maybe, once in awhile, but not regularly.

If each year, we land a couple of top 100 kids (ideally 25-60) that would be spectacular and should mean we are regularly a top 25 program which again would be spectacular.  The public institutions, (UConn, Indiana, Mich, Wisky, Mich. St. Kansas, Kentucky, Florida, North Carolina, Iowa, Iowa St., Texas, Cal, UCLA, USC, Virginia, LSU, Miss, Miss St, Texas A and M, Oklhoma, Ok St., etc.) and Duke, Notre Dame, Stanford, etc have budgets and facilities and recent traditions that give them many legs up.

There are lead recruiters for every potential student athlete. It's common knowledge in the coaching profession and the most valuable commodity for guys  landing jobs in today's game.

It's not childish to keep tally but it is childish to make a big deal about it. Every coach who's tasked with recruiting gets angry when they don't land their targets but at the end of the day there is only one goal which is to improve the team.

+1,000

WTF are people bitching about recruiting after one damn year. Atleast wait 1 more year to see who slice gets for 17 (if he stays.), if he gets no one then with the money that he's getting paid, and recruiting being the reason he's here. Then everyone will have good reason to complain.
Can we wait to see who if anyone he gets for 17 though?
